Location ¿¿¿ perfect: close to Las Ramblas and the beach, a lot of bars and restaurants downstairs. The bed was comfortable and we had a good sleep. The room gives to the interior of the building so there¿¿¿s no noise coming from the street.

we had a great stay at the apartment. it was clean and comfortable for the 3 weeks we stayed in it. when we arrived the service was excellent, and They were very accommodating. it was very roomy and well ventilated. the facilities were quite new.

Excellent service from the manager from beginning to end. Apartment very light and functional. City center location within walking distance of all areas. Shops and supermarkets nearby. Close to public transport if you wanted to venture further afield. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend to others and return to the apartment for another stay.

Dear Travel Now and Apartments in Barcelona,I have in February booked and paid below reservation and the booking was confirmed. The price was 145,45 Euro a day ¿¿¿ in total ¿¿¿ 552,54.It was an Easter present to my children and I wanted to give them a good holiday experience in Barcelona and therefore I have booked a LUXURY apartment.BUT¿¿¿¿¿¿. ¿¿¿ I/we experienced the worst, arrogant, ignorant and badly treatment from Apartments in Barcelona, I have ever experienced.http://www.apartmentsinbarcelona.net/en/RECEPTION ADDRESS:C\ JAUME I, N¿¿ 13, 08001 - BARCELONAT. (+34) 93 439 56 64We was not informed were to check in and of course we checked in at the hotel address: Carrer Ample, 42 - Barcelona 08002.This was what I booked:http://www.apartmentsinbarcelona.net/en/ainb-apartments/chic-bohemian/las-ramblas-ample-suite/We were met by a note at the door ¿¿¿ to call the office.I called the office and were told, that the apartment was NOT available and we had to come to the office.I¿¿¿m not familiar with Barcelona city and told the office, that they must pick us up.An employee came and guided us to the office, telling us, that they have a new place for us to stay ?????I asked to see the place I have ordered ¿¿¿ this was not possible ???? Allready rented out or ?????He then showed us 2 rooms in another building ¿¿¿ Via Laietana 46.It was two rooms with bath and toilets(- in the hallway), which we should share with other guests.I, of course asked for a refund/discount, because this was FAR from the LUXERY apartment I have reserved and paid for¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿The employee called his boss ¿¿¿ Georgina(Laia), I think ¿¿¿ but due to sickness/holiday it was not possible to have a discount at all.It was at that time, I should have called the police, but I would not spoil my children¿¿¿s holiday ¿¿¿ so I accepted the employee¿¿¿s explanation, that I will receive discount today ¿¿¿ Tuesday the 2.nd of April.My complaint is:- Really bad rooms ¿¿¿ far below the standard I have paid for ¿¿¿ NO LUXURY here- Shared toilets and baths in the hallway- No TV- No aircondition- I had to call for breakfast the first morning- Very much noise from other guests ¿¿¿ slamming doors and so on¿¿¿.- Very noisy from Metro and Via LaietanaFrom above information I of cause demand a discount/refund.The way me and my family were treated was far out¿¿¿¿¿¿. And the Company(Apartments in Barcelona) is not trustworthy !!!They totally ignored my questions and my demand for refund on the spot !!!! I have travelled all over the world, but this is the worst treatment I ever experienced !!!!Normal procedure all over the world is, that if the vendor don¿¿¿t have the possibility to deliver what is ordered and paid for, you will be upgraded to something better.In this situation, this was not the case ¿¿¿ we were degraded ¿¿¿ 2 or 3 times¿¿¿¿¿¿

Avoid, avoid avoid. The room is in a great place but it's a noisy area where my boyfriend got pick-pocketed. The building looks great from the outside, very promising till you get in. The guy who took for ever to let us in probably thought we were going to be a walk over. One night in the stained walls, poor shower room, terrible bed, noisy street with motorcycles whizzing everywhere, thin walls, no wi-fi etc etc the list is endless I booked another room and left the place. The problem is expectation. We booked a superior room and got crap. God alone knows what the cheaper room is like.Ps don't let the management make them think because you paid in advance you aren't due your money back if you wish to leave early.
