Excellent location just steps away from the main bus station in Galway ( literally less than a 5 minute walk) - arrived from Dublin on a City Link bus and found the tourist information office on the short walk from the bus station to Eyre Square. The bus tours to Cliffs of Moher and the Burren also depart from this bus station so I found the location to be stellar as the bus tours depart early in the morning ( 7am) so it is great to be that close. Eyre Square is busy and has several other hotels and eateries around so only visited the Hotel bar once as there were so many better places to eat in Galway and nearby Salt Hill. Service was friendly and efficient and we were able to extend our stay for several additional nights at the same rate as given using online booking. The hotel is definitely a bit "worn" and the room was not such that you would want to spend any excess time in it but it was good value for the price. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom just OK. Elevator works !The street is noisy and the location is apparently a party-hub of sorts. Our room was supposedly shielded from the night club but one could definitely still hear the noise ! For the price and convenient location I would probably return !

Hotel is in perfect location, right beside the train station and Eyre Square. Has a great hotel bar and Cafe attached. Staff were extremely accommodating. They even arranged to have a shirt, which I left in the room, posted back to my home address. A little on the expensive side for a stag but otherwise cant complain.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the eyre square. Rooms are grand, bit basic but you get what you pay for. Lots of noise though from pubs and nearby clubs. This hotel is perfect for hens n stags but wouldn't recommend for anything other than that. Some of male reception staff were rude and unfriendly but in general the staff were grand. Didn't eat there but the bar was nice but empty.

Very central, clean, nice food, staff friendly and helpful. A bit over priced. No parking facilities, you have to cross the street to park which is not very convenient and you you have to pay for parking as well. You cant stop outside the hotel to take your luggage out as it is a very busy street.

this is my first time at this hotel, the staff reception and bar are fab and so so friendly, especially angela in the bar , she made us feel so welcome and all the bar staff were so attentive ,the hotel is really for hen and stag nights and it can be a bit noisey at night , so ask for a room as far away from the night club as possable and the reception will do its best to help .rooms need a good makeover and does the bathroom .defo be back to the bar
