great hotel not happy about being charged more money than i booked
hotel was great very clean staff lovely tram at end of the street nice cafe round corner buy 3/4 day tram ticket which is great brings u from airport to hotel and into amsterdam every day n back airport ...Not happy about being charged xtra money. When i booked it was ¿¿285 but when 6% vat was added and then 5.5% city tax and prob a fee it bounced to ¿¿336 an xtra ¿¿51. The bill was taken out of my bank 4 days after i came home. So wont be booking with easytobook again.

Very reasonable nice clean hotel
From the airport you can catch the bus to 1/2 block away from the hotel. Situated in a nice area with a shopping area beside you and a nice market. We bought buns and cheese to have for our breakfast. No fridge in rooms but they are very nice and beds pretty comfortable. Great Turkish restaurant across the street. Go around the corner and catch a trolley into town. It only takes around 10 minutes and you get to see more than just the Dam Square area. We did not eat in the restaurant at the hotel so no opinion there.

Value for money
A good quality hotel a bit out of town but easily accessible.The hotel is a half hour bus ride from Schipol (bus 69 from bay 15) at a cost of Euro 2.80pp or by taxi for about Euro 50.00! To get to the Dam (city centre) take a number 14 tram from just around the corner. Again that takes between 15-30 minutes depending on traffic. The hotel itself is far better inside than out. Basic but clean and functional in an alright area. Breakfast was good, plentiful and fresh. The staff helpful and happy to assist with directions and area general knowledge. Can't remember the name of the restaurant over the road but it was Egyptian, well priced and worth a visit if you don't fancy going into town.

Perfect hotel for a last minute get away to the Dam!
We booked this hotel 2 weeks before we were due to go as saw a good deal, I was a bit apprehensive when we first arrived as it looks quite run down outside -you can't miss it as its a peeling blue building! However as soon as we walked through the door my opinion was cast to one side, the reception staff couldn't have been more helpful and recommend buying a tram/bus pass for 12eur for 48hrs which was great value as each journey is 3eur otherwise, the rooms were perfect, large comfy beds and big bathroom and the wifi worked with no problems, the tea/coffee was a great start to the day as wellI would definitely stay here again as even though it's about 20mins from Dam square we actually really enjoyed the daily tram or bus ride, from the hotel you can get either the number 14 to the centre and the night bus 352 back-literally 5 mins walk to/from the hotel, it's also perfect to get the bus from the airport (I can't remember the number) but again it stops right outside and takes a maximum of 25 minsI can't think of any niggles and would highly recommend staying here, I am actually glad we stayed here as opposed to a hotel in the centre as it would probably have been too noisy etc

Pretty good
Good budget option, a bit out of the centre but a tram stop is just down the road. Breakfast was really good, room was clean and good size. Wifi worked well, hotel looks a bit dated but i would stay here again as a good budget place.
