Not worthy of a 4 star rating
We would have given this hotel a "terrible" rating, however the staff was pleasant at all times and this was the only saving grace if our week-long stay. Whoever deemed this hotel a 4-Star accommodation needs to know this: We arrived at 1pm and our room was not ready. Were told to return in an hour, which we did, and still our room was not ready. The wifi went off every day after a few hours, and we had to call to have it reset constantly. The bedspread was stained, and the sheets were not changed once during our week-long stay. Also, we were instructed on the website that our dwelling would be 200 square feet. It was not. It was at most 170 square feet. Finally, it was the little things that we found irksome, such as a missing handle off the desk, the leaky plumbing in our bathroom, and the obviously missing picture frame on one wall where only a hook remained. Again, the staff was lovely and the location cannot be beat if looking for a centrally located base for walking trips throughout the city. We would not recommend this particular hotel, however.

Great Location in the center of Rome
Love it, staff is great, every small issue is handled promptly, and i love walking out the door into the action and restaraunts and stores. 2 blocks from the on and off bus, 1/2 a block from the Trevi fountain, sweet spot.I am a single traveler and I am in a small room but it is very cute, great a/c, flat screen TV, nice batheroom and wireless internet.You can do 4-5 hours of tours and have lunch and go have a nap and get back out there! I just love it!

Fantastic hotel close to all attractions excellent service, friendly helpful staff, would recommend a stay here, good value for money excellent breakfast also buffet style xx Rome is a must for sight seeing with lots to visit xx just ensure u wear good comfortable shoes :)

Room 404
The room was for me, my sister, and mom. At first, we saw the three single beds in a small room and thought...oh no way! Then we saw our window view, a super clean bathroom, and the looks of the other rooms....we ended up being grateful for our view and the wonderful location! Our room would be perfect size for a couple. Of course you can stay in more updated, but you will be walking a lot farther to attractions. Every morning I drank a cappuccino sitting by the Trevi fountain.....ALONE. That is amazing in itself, because it gets way crowded by afternoon. The breakfast was very nice and italian....fresh espresso too! There was a large variety of food, everyone in family will not be disappointed. Yes, its small and aged, but I thought it was clean, the staff very helpful and fun, and in the middle of EVERYTHING. Look at trevi fountain on a tourist map and you'll see. The beds were firm. They do have a suite with balcony. Yes, it is more like a 2-3 star by American standards, but hey, you're in Rome and the price is right!

One of the worse hotels ever
The super central location is the only positive thing about this hotel.I cannot understand how they can proudly show the 2012 TripAdvisor certificate of excellence, hanging there at the wall of the reception!!!The structure is very old and not well maintained. My room was a CORRIDOR of 1,20 mts width, with a single bed and a desk you could not even seat at because there was no space! Same story for the bathroom where the shower was 1*1 meters, I could hardly fit in! The shampoo was clearly recycled from the previous guests as it was only half full... and all this came at 152 Eur per night!!!The breakfast room is too small compared to the number of rooms they have and you have to queue if you want to have a seat.I could go on and on with the list of negative things about this hotel, from the time you need for check in-out, the internet connection not working, the tasteless furniture etc¿¿¿All in all a Lilliputian hotel definitely overpriced... not what you would expect from a 4 star 'boutique' hotel!
