This hotel I have seen get very bad reviews, and although, yes the food WAS terrible, everything else was superb. I went there on a school trip not long ago and everyday we would get back and our room would be spotless, nothing ever went missing like it can in some hotels, and I found personally, that although the staff had fairly bad English, they tried their best to be polite and help us. Although I do understand the bad reviews and think that it is a hotel best suited for either schools, or people looking for somewhere simple and comfortable to stay that will provide food while they are out and about exploring Spain and getting to know and experience the culture. Not for those who are looking for an all inclusive, room service, relax by the pool type of a holiday. :)

The rooms of this hotel are actually quite good however the food in this hotel is SO BAD I didn't even try to eat 3/4 of the buffet that the hotel had set for its guests. I went with my school thinking that we would be living near Barcelona. Thats not true. Its absolutely ages (approx. 1:30 hrs) and even further away from Port Aventura (approx. 2:30 hrs). Finally this is not suitable for familys with samll children as the disco runs until 12 and there are lotsof school children running across corridors in the evenings!In conclusion:Diso: Only full of old people when we visitedFood: Always cold and didn't taste niceRooms: Quite goodOther: There is a games room but you have to pay for everything, there is wifi which works very well throughout the whole hotel and there is a Kebab shop on the other side of the road wich is really good!I HATED THE HOTEL AND DO NOT RECOGMEND ANYONE TO VISIT IT! I REPEAT, PLEASE DO NOT VISIT!P.S if you do decide to take your schoo l/ go to this hotel, only the left coffee machine makes hot chocolate

We were allocated this hotel for our school trip at Easter 2013. Our arrival coincided with the first day of the summer season for the hotel, although staff told us they had been open at weekends through the winter. The ambience is ideal for a party of girls as it has a resort hotel feel. Rooms were spacious and airy with decent showers in the bathrooms. I had been concerned re food quality having read other reviews, but we were relieved when there was plenty of variety at both breakfast and dinner with few complaints from us our our students. Bottled water was given to the students at mealtimes. There were other events on to attract holidaymakers to the resort involving dancing and bingo. Unfortunately the hotel roomed other tourists between our room allocation. In a hotel of this size we should have been able to be apart from individual holidaymakers. This was our only gripe really. Our rate included packed lunch which was the same every day and became less and less appetising. We heard the DB&B rate available locally is 20Euros-cheaper than staying at home and that includes house wine! We liked it a lot! One thing - noise between rooms could be an issue when the hotel is fuller. The rooftop pool looked like a nice suntrap, but chilly in March. Tossa is a pretty resort, worth the hike for a school party from Barcelona based day trips.

We stayed here in September. It is close to the beach and provides a good service. It is clean, daily maid service, helpful reception, and accommodating restaurant service.Satisfaction will be influenced by the price paid! We paid just ¿¿250 for a 6 night DBB for 2. On top of that was 20 euros + 10 euro deposit for room safe. Car parking is extra 38 euro for week. Haidryers etc available from reception for a deposit. No fridge, but 24 hour bar will store you bottles for you.The 300 room hotel provides mass catering which is good and reasonably varied that you can always find something you can eat. That being said after 3 days, we arranged to swap evening meal to a late lunch (finishes at 3) to eat late at beach restaurants which provide a better holiday experience.This is not the best hotel, but if the price is right, it could be the best value for money taking account of its proximity to beach!

The hotel is in a great location for the beach/amenities and this year was our 4th stay here so we knew what to expect. Cannot grumble with the price for B&B and the rooms have good air con and balconies. Always plenty of hot water, soap and clean towels daily. Staff nice and friendly.Downside is the noise as it's familiy orientated. If you like to get to bed before 12 and get up at 8 then this would be good for you. Kids running around the corridors which really echo due to the thin walls and marble floors. You've no chance of a later sleep in if you've been out late the night before!
