Couldn't ask for a better location
This hotel is in a perfect location within a couple of blocks from the main square in Sorrento. Loved Sorrento. My only complaint is that the bed was hard (pretty standard for European hotels) and there was a little courtyard off our room with no view. Quiet enough late at night to sleep with the doors open. Would recommend.

Enjoyed our Stay
We stayed 4 nights in Hotel Sorrento City in April and were very pleased with the hotel (very clean, nice decor), the welcoming and helpful staff, and the great breakfast. The location was perfect - on the main street, but just minutes from the bus and train station, with shops and restaurants next door, and the port for catching the boat to Capri, just a 5-10 minute walk away. Enjoyed the small balcony. We chose this hotel after reading good reviews on Trip Advisor and it certainly lived up to the positive comments. We had traveled all night on a plane and then an hour or so on the bus, and the welcome for two weary travelers was very appreciated.

Beautiful Sorrento
Great clean cozy hotel in fantastic location in Sorrento. The staff were really friendly and helpful.Rooms were smallish but had everything you needed as we weren't really there much. Great bathrooms and breakfast was yummy.I enjoyed the street side bedroom with little balcony to watch the passing parade. Little bit of noise from street but didn't disturb us.After all we were in SORRENTO!!!!!!!!

Cozy pleasant hotel, very nice staff
The rooms were moderate in size, the triple rooms didn't have a view but considering the locations and the purpose of the hotel these were minor impediments. The helpful staff, the cleanliness and the central location were worth the money. The bed mattresses were a bit hard though, that costed them on the sleep quality rating.

Nice hotel, great location, but too noisy.
This is a nice clean hotel with moderate size rooms, decent toilet facilities, close to the train station and center of town. But, the walls are thin, (hear snoring in next room and everything else going on in the hotel) The street side rooms are very noisy from the traffic and drunk teenagers on Spring break; combined with the hard beds, a good nights sleep was impossible. I would recommend this hotel except for the noise.
