My best hotel stay yet!
I was part of a group of about 16 people who stayed at Toronto¿¿¿s Westin Harbour Castle over the Victoria Day Weekend. I would like to let you know that this has been the best hotel experience that I have had to date. Your staff was outstanding and went above and beyond to accommodate our group. We arrived on Friday the 17th at midnight. After checking in and dropping our luggage off in our rooms we went down to the bar for a quick drink with the group. One the guys mentioned to the bar tender by the name of Mr. Lee that one of the couples in our group got engaged the previous weekend. To our surprise, the next day, the staff had delivered a bottle of bubbly and chocolate covered strawberries to their room courtesy of the food and beverage team. On Saturday, the girls went shopping in the downtown area. As we were a large group we split up in separate cabs when we were heading back to the hotel. Unfortunately, I accidentally dropped my wallet in the cab as I got out (embarrassing, I know!). My wallet contained over a hundred dollars in cash and $300 in gift cards, not to mention all my ID, SIN card, Visas and debit which all would have been a pain to replace or easy to fraud. Samuel at Valet was quick to reassure a clearly upset young lady that this wasn¿¿¿t the first time this happened and that 95% of the time these situations work out for the best. He then called in the security team. The speed, diligence, and organization in helping me track down my wallet was unparalleled. I don¿¿¿t think I could have been in better hands if this happened in front of a police station. Jennifer and Mai from Security were outstanding. Within 20 minutes of me realizing my wallet had been left in the cab, Jennifer and Mai had been able to confirm the cab company that dropped me off as well as the licence plate of the vehicle. They were then able to contact the Toronto police in order to get in touch with the cabby. When the cab company tried to hold my wallet hostage and only deliver it the next morning, Jennifer was quick to jump in and tell them this was unacceptable. Not only did she have them deliver it within the next 30 minutes, she advised me that the hotel would be covering the drop off fee that the cab driver would be charging for the wallet. I was already extremely grateful that these women were able to track down my wallet, but when they mentioned the hotel would be covering this fee I was beyond impressed. We checked out on Sunday morning where I ran into Jennifer again in the lobby. She came by to check on me again and let me know that she was glad everything turned out in our favour. The team not only went above and beyond to accommodate our group, they did everything all the while being extremely polite, friendly, and showed their genuine concern. You guys have definitely made a loyal customer out of myself and likely most of the people in our group. I know I can say that for myself and my boyfriend we will definitely make a point of staying in Westins moving forward, if possible, if not at the very least at another Starwood sister hotel. Next time I am in Toronto, I cannot foresee myself staying in another hotel!Hope to stay at another Weston Soon! Thanks,Lindsay

An excellent start to my holiday
This hotel has a lot going for it and the position is superb. The rooms are very good and certainly spacious enough for me. Everything is as clean as it should be and the staff everywhere are all excellent. Breakfast in the Mizzen restaurant is very good indeed. The Toula restaurant for dinner is good too with the proverbial "views to die for". An alternative restaurant for dinner, is Carisma just a short walk away but check out their menu first on their website to see for yourself. www.carismarestaurant.com

Best bed ever!!!
I am in love with the bed, it was like sleeping on a cloud all night:) Rest of room was appropriately fancy given the price. Great for a splurge to treat yourself! Breakfast and parking was extra. Only complaint would be the size of the room, could be roomier for the cost.

Thank you, Jeniffer Moon!
Hi Jennifer ¿¿¿I wanted to take a minute ¿¿¿ actually, I had hoped to see you personally ¿¿¿ to thank you for your amazing thoughtfulness on Friday night. You may recall I told you in the elevator that I had a bit of a sore throat from the day¿¿¿s activities. Later on, when I returned to my room, you had sent a tray with tea, lemon, honey, hot water ¿¿¿ so many awesome things to help. Not only was I happy to receive this, I was also greatly amazed at your very excellent memory.Your compassion is the hallmark of the hotel. From this point on, I am a confirmed and loyal Westin fan.Enjoy Spring, take good care, and thank you again.Warmest regards ¿¿¿Susan

"Top shelf", once again!
The Toronto Westin Harbour Castle just palin "does it right!"From the Lake View, to the incredible breakfast, to the friendly housekeeping staff, to the entertaining gents who work the bar; I just love THIS Westin! Of course, I LIKE ALL Westin's , but in particular, I would stay nowhere else when visiting Downtown Toronto but The Westin Harbour Castle. The road construction is still a bit unnerving along the road in-front of the hotel, however this property certainly makes-up for any inconveniences that might be caused by The City.Stay here! You'll LOVE it!(have the breakfast buffet: The Chef, a very nice man, has something "special" every morning! He's remarkable!)
