Paradero 1
I also was nervous about this holiday, but it was ok. We were there for 1 week April 19th to 26th.We stayed at paradero 1. Appartment was big, twin beds and sofa, table and chairs, big bathroom and adequate kitchen with fridge. We also had a large balcony which got the sun all day. Beds were changed twice while we were there and clean towels every other day.The pool area is nice but no mattresses for hard plastic sunbeds and NO parasols.Air con or at least a ceiling fan would be an improvement. We didn't pay a huge amount for this holiday, so all in all we were satisfied. You will always get noisy people on holiday, just enjoying themselves.PS...We only saw 1 cockroach and it was outside!

I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews for this place, too, but I'm warning you not to believe the horror stories! We (me and husband) have just got back from staying at the paradero I complex, where we had a spacious one bedroom twin apartment. Furniture was a little out dated and could do with modernising, but at the end of the day you aren't paying for a high class hotel so shouldn't expect it! We didn't have any meals at the hotel, breakfast was just great to have at our sunny balcony in the mornings. Kitchenet has equipments to make your own meals and tableware for three, just enough for us.Staff were friendly enough and great at the bar. There was also some enterteinments at bar in the evenings. The whole hotel as two pools, one in the main hotel itself, and one in the the paradero I complex, both with sun loungers for free of charge and warm enough water in the pool to swim. There is a road from the hotel leading straight down to the beach and it took about 5 minutes to get to the beach. The main busstation is also very near if you want to go to other cities and the Magma (Congress House) just up the road if you like to see a great musical called History. We did and enjoyed it a lot!We are probably going back there later this year.

If you want to sleep before 4 in the morning (at the earliest then don't bother with this place)
Had to move apartment as there was loads of noise from neighbouring apartments on the first night till past 4 in the morning, on the second night there was a party in the next apartment (consisting of about 10+ Spanish teenagers) till past 5 in the morning. At 6 in the morning some drunken pratt and his stupid mrs tried to get in our apartment when they realised they were wrong they buggered off only for his mates to try and get in a few minutes later. The smell of drugs wafting over and the crap music made it so we couldn¿¿¿t sit outside on the balcony. But it was fine as you could hear the music clearly and at a loud level when inside (much, much sarcasm).Moved apartment (as they way it was going I would have ended up in a Spanish prison for murder) and it was quiet until the last night when 2 of what must have been the cast of Eastenders moved in to the apartment next to us ¿¿¿ (arguing as soon as they got in). When we asked to move apartment it was as if we should have known there would be noise till 5 in the morning - so silly us eh. But if you want to look over your balcony and see a Spanish lad being hugged by 2 other lads then this might be for you. - Oh he was naked and playing with himself for the camera. - Certainly not my cup of tea.The patio doors lock by putting a metal pole on the floor (however as the glass was about to fall out of the frame then this maybe of no use) and a bath that leaked all over the floor if you pulled the plug out. I will stay in Tenerife again but I will spend a few extra quid to stay in a different part of the resort. All in all if you are a scumbag then you will love it here.

Don't stay here paying all inclusive!!
Me and 4 of my friends just got back from a week staying at paradero which we booked and the sign outside said para de sol we still not sure where we actually stayed, we're a lively group of girls used to slumbing it in Zante/magaluf /malia and we were all so disgusted with the hotel. We had to walk down an alley way to get to our actual apartments which¿¿wasn't very safe at night as there was no lighting and worrying considering that the hotel had had alot of break ins. We payed for all inclusive which was over ¿¿600 and did not get our money's worth at all, especially when we found out other groups of people payed less than us and were staying for longer, we felt sorry for them eating there though and was glad to get out of there! The food was the same every day and not labeled, we spent the week guessing what we was eating which was not good for anyone with allergies/intorerances. The food was often cold even when meal times had just begun and there was a microwave if you wanted to heat it up. We intended spending a small amount of money on the strip for nights out but ended up spending an extra ¿¿¿300 on meals out as the food was so bad. The hotel staff were rude and not helpful at all. The security was rubbish and there was a pole which kept the balcony doors shut as the locks didn't work which my friend caught her thumb in and ended up in a&e and the manager said that it wasn't his problem and that the pole was the most secure option as there was lots of burglaries! as we were all inclusive you'd think that water would be available throughout the day but you had to wait until the pool bar opened at 11am. The snacks were left over salad and pre made cheese ¿¿sandwiches which you had to toast yourself and anything else you had to pay for. We were told it was a 3 star hotel when we booked the holiday in Thomas cook but it turns out to only be a 2star. There were two pools one with a bar and one that was deserted, the sun loungers were really uncomfortable and you had to pay an extra ¿¿¿1.50 for a cusion! Our bathroom was covered in ants and there were cockroaches all over the place, even local workers commented that it was known as "cockroach hotel". Take my advise and do not stay here, do your research there were plenty of nice hotels along the beach!¿¿

Brilliant
we ame to the Paradero on 15.05.12, when we got to our apartment we were plesantly surprised, it was large and spacious with plenty of storage, the veranda was huge with a maiden on and table and chairs, it was very secure as it was gated to gain access into the complex we had to use a card to open the gates which was very reassuring, we felt so secure we slept with the Veranda door open at night, I would definatley recommend we had a great time and it was close to the nightlife, but without the noise, will def be going back again.
