If you've read other reviews, you know by now the pool charges for towel service and the rooms do not have kettles or coffee makers (so we packed our own). That aside, this is an excellent hotel if you have school aged children! A few tips:- It is close enough to the parks to easily walk to and from if you want to go back and take a break. It was especially great for our 6 & 8 year old boys who could run off much of their endless energy because the grounds are big. - I will warn the slide in the pool has a strong current and requires adult assistance if you aren't a strong swimmer. The breakfast buffet is grab n go (cold foods only) but the dinner is really nice. When you check in, you are able to choose what time you'd like breakfast and are provided a voucher to turn in. It gets very busy after 8 am (like over 100 people in line) so choose as early as you and your family can tolerate. We ate at 730 am and just missed the mega crowds.

This hotel is brilliant, we love it here. Would really recommend paying the extra for a Montana room which is in the main block so you don't have too much walking after a long day.The food in the restaurant here is amazing with carved meats and fresh veg served most nights! The rooms are great size for 2 adults 2 children and 1 baby, really clean and lads of storage areas.The pool area is ok but really cold every time we go we give it a go and manage 10 minutes tops!.highly recommend cowboy cookout, food is served like a fast food restaurant but its really tasty and we got to meet 7 different characters including woody and jess.we also per book the half hard upgrade as t saves the hassle of taking loads of money out in to the parks and is really good value as we eat at the mst expensive restaurants we can do. An average sit down meal costs 25-35 euros each so thus is worth dong.the new sandwich shop at the top of disney village is brilliant,cheaper than every where else so it's worthy visit.

We went to this hotel at Easter and loved it. Very quick and easy check-in, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. We found our room easily which was located near the swimming pool. This was an ideal place, short stroll for breakfast, next to the swimming pool and to get to the park a walk along the river and around the lake and we were at the Disney village. The room itself was very clean, spacious and warm. Maid service was daily so there were no complaints in that area. The hotel has a lovely bar area with a central open fire, which you can imagine is gorgeous at Christmas. Yes the prices were higher than your every day pub, but most hotels I've been too have a higher price rate. We did expect this, to be honest we didn't think it that bad considering where we were.Breakfast is plentiful, cereal is branded produce. It's a continental breakfast, which we fully expected. Staff are replenishing foods constantly. Gorgeous croissants, which I'd hoped in France! The coffee is quite an acquired taste shall we say, I was fine with it as I enjoy my different coffees but I thought my husband was going to either pass out or be sky high on caffeine all day!Disney characters are next to the Disney boutique every morning for a few hours. We had photos with all different characters Minnie & Mickey included no problems. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel and in Disney itself. We will be back again this year.

We have just returned from our first trip to Euro Disney & we stayed at Sequoia Lodge. The hotel is well situate and is literally a 10 minute walk or 15 if you amble along to the park or if you prefer you can catch a yellow shuttle bus which come regularly (every 15 minutes) from 7am each and every day. The hotel is large and overall I was impressed with the cleanliness the large bar area is nice to sit and have a drink and there is a veranda which you can sit out and look over the lake. I unfortunately did not find the staff particularly helpful or very cheerful they are busy with a large amount of guests but it may ease things if a pack was placed in every room containing the important info i.e. fast pass, extra hours in the park, shuttle bus details & a brief rundown of the facilities within the hotel i.e. swimming pool, children¿¿¿s corner etc The room was comfortable with a bath & nice power shower the room was immaculately clean, the hair dryer was awful (next time I shall bring my own) it was fine for a base to explore the park and surroundings but nothing luxurious it was more basic. There is a mini bar this is over priced and there is a boutique shop within the hotel which as all things Disney is very expensive and would try and avoid with children. The swimming pool was lovely our daughter (aged 5) enjoyed the water slide and there was lots of floats, armbands etc available for those that require them. There is a Jacuzzi & sauna in both changing rooms, when we arrived it was very hot and they had opened the partition within the pool so you could access the outdoor pool area which was lovely and refreshing especially after a sticky tiring day.Breakfast was continental which is sufficient there is a lot of choice cereal, fruit, yoghurt breads/pastries etc but if you fancy something a bit more fortifying for a day in the park you have to pay extra for an ¿¿¿American Style¿¿¿ breakfast which consisted of over done scrambled eggs, potatoes, salad & bacon¿¿¿.no baked beans etc not particularly tasty and I believe should be included in the price.Dinner with the princesses ¿¿¿ we pre booked this and it was brilliant our daughter who is 5 had a special meal with some of the princess including Snow White & her prince, Ariel, Cinderella & mice it was lovely. We were there for 2 hours or so it was nice to have a proper chat and plenty of photo opportunities and our daughter had the best time.Buffalo Bill ¿¿¿ we also pre-booked this and we all had a fab time the show was excellent there was something for the whole family, the meal was tasty and I would highly recommend.Caf¿¿ Mickey meet the character breakfast ¿¿¿ 16 euro per person and a total rip off!! We booked this and I have to say it was very disappointing. The character we met were 2 chipmunks, goofy & Tiger¿¿¿not a Mickey Mouse in sight, the breakfast was mediocre and I would say it¿¿¿s not worth it.The walking was hard going on our 5 year old daughters¿¿¿ legs and we were there for 4 days so by the end of day 2 we hired a stroller type chair for 12 Euros per day but we paid a 70 euro deposit so we could take it in and out of the park which made walking to and from the hotel in mornings/evenings or trying to rush to things sooooo much easier on the entire family.The light show at 10pm was absolutely magical it was truly out of this world and a definite highlight for us as was the parade at 7pm in the main park. We were disappointed with the lack of characters around the park I thought that there would be more of them and if you did see one there were massive queues, people shoving to get near them and it made it much less magical.Fast pass is excellent you just swipe your park card print out a ticket for a particular ride and then come back at your allotted time which meant that we didn¿¿¿t have to wait and queue for long periods of time for particularly busy rides. Our daughter really loved the rides including Thunder Mountain and especially the Buzz Light-year ride!! W

Had a montana room. Walking down the halls, it was very far from the reception, but a path led from our room to breakfast room in a few steps.Rooms renovated in 2011, and still looks fresh. Great breakfast with bread, cold cuts, juice, coffee, youghurt cereals and fruit. Located very near the park. Our room was facing the lake, but still quiet.Nice, calm, big reception area. Very efficient check inn. We had two rooms, which was very cold. We called reception on several occasions, but only one room was fixed. The other was cold 3 days in a row! Very disapointing. .
