Good location and good staff
Pros:Location - right beside central station and a 2 minute walk to and from the airport bus stop (Waterloo Street going to the airport and Bothwell street when arriving).Staff - all brilliant. Very friendly and helpful. Jean serving the breakfast at the weekend a particular highlightPrice - reasonableRoom: Clean, nicely furnished, decent sized bathroomConsLocation: Could be a bit noisy, request a room at the back of the hotel and as high a floor as possibleRoom: Window wasn't in great condition, hard to closeAtmosphere: We arrived at 10.30pm on a Friday night not realising that the Check in desk was basically in a pub. Wasn't comfortable checking in during blaring music and drunks (although the staff member was great). Also, Breakfast is served in the Indian restaraunt connected to the hotel. Not a big deal but not really all that pleasant either.Overall I would recommend it for 2-3 nights. Particularly if you are travelling with friends, on your own, or on business trip.

Basic Hotel, right in the heart of Glasgow
Stayed for one night and found the hotel basic but adequate for a short stay. Room was basic, clean and reasonable size. Everything worked, plenty of towels, hot water etc. so nothing to really fault. Went room only as there are loads of cafes, coffee shops etc, in the immediate area.Great location for the city centre, Merchant City etc. and there are some great deals available. Overall this hotel offers pretty good value for money.

Great location
Stayed here for one night, booked via a third party site for room only and got a great deal. The location is ideal for central station, and really isn't far from anywhere you'd need to be. Rooms were as expected, nothing special, couple of things left to be desired (tv remote wasnt working, light above bathroom mirror not working) but we weren't particularly bothered. Ask for a quiet room, one towards the back of the hotel. The view is of another building but you don't get street noise and we got a really good sleep. Service gets a 2 because it wasnt particularly memorable, receptionist was quite quiet when checking us is and out.

Magic
Can't beat this hotel ! Have stayed here on numerous occasions, last time being 9th to 16 th April 2013. Just keep being drawn back. I have stayed in lots of hotels for business and pleasure but this is the best. The staff make you so welcome, even a part of the family. They remember you by name and welcome you with open arms everytime. All the staff, Jamie, Hubert, John, Fiona, Rose, Martha, David¿¿, all are now friends as well as the staff. Cant recomend this hotel more. You will love it, just like home number 2.
