Great Place to Stay
Not only did i love the hotel for its proximity to everything including the Convention Centre, it was clean, very comfortable and the staff were great. I left behind some items and when i contacted the concierge i got an immediate response from Faith who went above and beyond to arrange getting the items back to me. Very impressed and would stay here again the next time i am in Toronto.

Excellent location, peaceful oasis
I visited solo for business, but we'll be back someday as a family. The rooms are spacious, and the pool is perfect for kids. Adults will enjoy the exercise facilities and spa.Location is king, and the InterContinental is located within steps of the CN Tower and Rogers Centre, plus Roundhouse Park. Only two blocks away is the waterfront with family fun and ferries to Centre Island, and a subway station is even closer. Park your car in the underground garage and leave it there! The indoor pool and hot tub was really the highlight as far as on-site amenities go. The pool is saline and quite warm, with a fun waterfall kids love. There's a big hot tub adjacent, and a smaller, shallow pool for not-quite swimmers. Comfortable spa-like lounge chairs surround the pool, and complimentary hot tea and water are on-hand, as well as large thick towels. It's like visiting a spa pool with the kids!

Nice spot
This hotel was convenient for our stopover. However, the downside to this spot is that it is a tad bit noisy outside. Especially if people are leaving the bars across the street at night.The rooms were lovely & the view was great.Nice and close to getting the shuttle to Porter Airlines.

InterContinental Toronto Centre is always my first choice downtown.
I stay at IC Toronto every time I come to Toronto. I'm always treated well. The staff is excellent and, if there is any problem, no matter how small, they are more than accommodating in making up for any inconvenience. The lobby is beautiful, the pool luxurious, the food is very good and the service is outstanding. The beds are very comfortable and I LOVE the pillows!!! Thanks once again InterContinental for another exceptional stay!! (I'm there right now! :) )

Glitches happen; true and caring hotel professionals know how to "make things right"
I have worked in the hospitality industry (in public and media relations) for more than 20 years. First with the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, followed by the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on the Big Island of Hawaii. I am currently the PR & Promotions Director with the Maui Visitors and Convention Bureau representing the Islands of "Maui Nui" -- Maui, Moloka¿¿i and L¿¿na¿¿i. As one can imagine, I have traveled quite a bit in my career and stayed at some of the finest and best hotels/resorts across the North America.Most recently, I had the privilege to stay at the Intercontinental Toronto Centre. Upon arrival, the doorman was attentive and immediately came to our cab to unload our luggage. Our check-in was swift, efficient and friendly. The delivery of bags was lightning-quick and my bellman was very knowledgable. Speaking of knowledgeable, the concierge staff rocks! Among our many requests (all expertly satisfied), we asked for a Japanese restaurant recommendation and enjoyed one of our best Japanese dining experiences ever. The rooms are comfortably luxurious and housekeeping was top-notch. Their restaurant, Toronto Azure Restaurant and Bar, served exceptional meals (we had breakfast and dinner). Their men's shop, H Halperin Esq, is downright dangerous. LOL. I purchased two shirts, a pair of jeans, socks and even a belt. Stay away from there! ; )Was our stay perfect? No. There were a couple of glitches. I do not feel it is necessary to list what they were as hotel representatives (thank you Balinder and Jessica) explained what had been happening and the hotel's specific plans to improve the situation moving forward. Having worked in the hotel industry, I realize "glitches" are unavoidable, even at a property of this calibre. The difference is how the hotel responds to rectify challenges. And respond they did¿¿¿immediately. They were very attentive and generous in their attempt to "make things right."On my next visit to Toronto, you can bet I will do my best to stay at Intercontinental Toronto Centre. I will never forget how we were treated and how their staff worked to turn things around. I have no hesitations recommending this hotel to business associates, friends, and most notably, my very own family.
