Excellent location, spotlessly clean, poor service, poor kitchen, uncomfortable cots, slow Internet.
Unhelpful and unfriendly concierge named Farooq who dismissed my request for restaurant recommendation on our first night with: "just walk outside..there are restaurants all over." We ended up at subpar Coffee and Tea because we were too tired to look around. My son didn't like the unpadded, uncomfortable cots and slow Internet. No coffee maker, no oven, no toaster, and no self serve laundry...,so it's not truly a full service apartment. There is a microwave, fridge and stove. No vent in bathroom which gets steamy and slick. Lots of hot water. Clean beds and spotlessly clean apartment.Excellent location outside tourist hub in walking distance to metro and several great restaurants, including classic Via Veneto offering expensive traditional catalan food with very personable black tie waiters in old style restaurant (suckling pig is superb but skip ¿¿¿17 oranges which are merely very sweet hand-sliced oranges), Fragments cafe---modern midpriced catalan, and mid to low price, fresh, very flavorful, inventive SNB Italian restaurant. Fun tapas chain called lizarran nearby where waiters bring out trays of freshly made tapas to choose from. Lots of joggers in neighborhood --I ran to summer palace, tennis courts and ruins of castle while my son ran up ridge to ave tibidabo. Sparkling clean beautiful indoor local market with produce, meat, nuts, fruit stalls called mercado Las corts on parada 70. Much cleaner than mercat la boqueria ! Many great bakeries around.

Perfect
I stayed for two nights as a 40th birthday treat, room only - there are food options for an additional cost, but I took advantage of the local cuisine. I am a solo traveler and the hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful. I arrived late evening and checked in with no problems. It's on the airport side of the city so cost 25 euros in a taxi, which isn't too bad. They advised me on where I could eat locally, where to get the tourist bus from (you can get a slight discount on the ticket if you go through the hotel) and where the local metro is. Les Corts metro stop is two minutes down the same road as the hotel. It was easy to get into the main city by metro-if I can do it, anyone can! The main street 'Diagonal' is just up the road, which has plenty of places to shop and eat. The room was on the fourth floor, no view but i wasn't bothered about that. It was clean and roomy, good shower and has a little kitchen. Only thing i could fault is you can hear next door flushing the loo, but i think that is because they have a flush a bit like an airplane toilet. The reception staff speak perfect english and politely humoured my attempts at Spanish! Rahood was especially helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

A MUST IF GOING TO CAMP NOU
Fantastic hotel very close to Barcelona FC it is actually 5 minutes walking distance. Staff fabulous could not ask for more. A short metro trip from the city centre. Hotel very clean and also near a large shopping mall for the ladies.

Good hotel
I stayed at this hotel the first bank holiday ofn May this year for 3 nights. We travelled to watch the football match and we couldn't have got a hotel with better location for the football. It is a 10/15 minute walk to the Nou Camp stadium. I would not recommend getting the Metro after a football game, the queue was right up the street! It is a nice hotel and good for value. 5 minute walk from the metro (Les Corts) which has a direct line to Rambalas, where all the main shops and restaurants are. Would recommend this for a weekend stay if you are going to watch the football! Very friendly staff aswell.

Weekend Stay
Arrived at hotel and promptly checked In with no issues!! The lobby was pleasant and relaxed!! We were on the 7th floor in a room for 3 adults, the beds were reasonable, and the bathroom was good with a decent shower! We also had a a small kitchen area but we only really used the fridge!! The location was great, within walking distance was a supermarket, various bakeries and cafes, a shopping centre for designer goods and a large taxi rank. The Nou Camp football stadium was only a 5 minute stroll as well. To get to the main Las Ramblas area and marina it was a ten minute taxi journey and costs between 10-12 euros! Overall the stay was very nice and would recommend the hotel to anybody having a short stay in Barcelona
