We were welcomed in a very friendly manor and when they realized I was staying with my son they changed my room from a double to a twin room. I was really impressed by this and relieved that I would not be black and blue in the morning due to how much my son thrashes about.I asked for a taxi to be booked for the morning and I was then offered a morning call. The taxi even turned up slightly early in the morning.I arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning so unfortunately I was not able to make the most of my stay at the hotel and was a shame as it all looked very good.I have decided to return to this hotel next year, when I am in Crawley for my sons swimming again. The room standard is the same as the Premier Inn.

Basic's were missed
Stayed here with a friend for an early meeting in Gatwick in the morning. The car park was a complete nightmare to find a space, especially in the dark and part of it isn't surfaced.The cleanliness of the hotel needs improving. Finding old water in the kettle, rubbish in the bin and unclean toilet is a very simple fix! The bed was also the most uncomfortable bed I've stayed on!!Overall this hotel really needs some work doing to it.

Value for money
We booked this along with an APH parking space at Gatwick - hotel good value for what we paid - hotel is a little old looking and the rooms had an old musty smell, tea wasn't very nice, but apart from that it was an all round comfortable stay - we had to get up at 3am in the morning and all was very quiet - dropped key off at reception and walked straight out so very quick and easy.

Does the job
It does what it says on the tin, somewhere to rest your head before flying, the red sofa at the front door could do with a good clean or reupholstering, the decor looks outdated and somewhat tired..bedding was fresh although the walls could do with a lick of paint..my major downside was I was flying at 6am so being up and about that early in the morning there where no facilities for freshly made coffees, restaurant closes at 10pm although they do sandwiches and jacket potatoes at a costly ¿¿6 I chose to order a takeaway and get it delivered to reception..all in all it's value for money but don't expect 5star status

Good value for money
Nice hotel, fine for a nights stop over to/from the airport, somewhere to freshen up. Breakfast was great, although had to pay extra-worth it as better value than in the airport. The room was clean and neat. The bed was very hard and the decor dated,but great value overall.
