Average for the rating (4 star hotel)
Not your regular hotel as offers suites for parents with children. Attractive and good deal as children under 16 eat breakfast free when accompanied by parents. I was looking forward to the "suitebox" free movies but failed to get an acceptable picture and reporting it did not solve the problem. Regular TV channels all French with exception of Sky News. Internet is free but relatively slow. Breakfast has good variety of items and is buffet style. Reception staff's english was reasonably good. Nearest Metro station is 10-15 min walk. about 30 min to reach Paris central.

Better than your average Novotel

Carrefour supermarket next door is convenient if you want to bring stuff back, perhaps breakfast, as the hotel charges 15e ea for a minimal breakfast.Tram and Metro is across the overpass. Neighbourhood is ethnic, but appears safe enough.Look for various deals on-line as the place is promoting a lot of specials.

Functional and comfortable
A large room with a capsule within that forms the bathroom, toilet, kitchen area and wardrobes. The bedroom area can be segregated by a net curtain. It's basic but I felt it really worked. Child friendly for sure. The location is convenient for Carrefour and the Metro, and there is secure parking.

Ant infestation
Location was ok- 5 min walk from Metro, Room (121) was filthy and infested with ants (and we had 2 young kids with us). We complained but they could not move us as hotel full. They denied any knowledge of this happening before yet they were able to spray insecticide on the floor. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

good choice for a short stay in Paris
For the price we paid, the hotel was quite good. The room was clean and facilities were sufficient. Hotel staff were helpful. The hotel situates 10 train-ride to the center of Paris. There is a Carrefour only a few minutes away and there are other restaurants.
