Great location, horrible bed!
My wife and I arrived here May 17th and departed May 19th. The location is excellent if you plan on spending a day or two shopping at Walden Galleria. The hotel provided prompt service at the front desk and replaced a remote very quickly when the battery in ours died. The room itself was a good size with a flat screen TV. The bathroom although extremely small was clean. My only complaint and it is the only reason that I would not stay there again was the bed in Room #503. It had a lump down the middle and each side of the bed sloped towards the edge. It was by far the most uncomfortable bed that I have ever slept in a hotel. I slept horribly each night and each morning I wope up with a sore back amd my wife woke up with aching hips. I should have asked to switch rooms the first night and wish that I had acted upon my first instinct to do so. Please change the mattress in Room #503.

Only if you MUST stay near the Buffalo airport...
My daughter and I spent the night while driving from Boston to Chicago. The beds are mediocre, with thin, slightly rough linens and a tired blanket (fortunately covered by the sheets). The carpet in our room was visibly dirty--we kept flip flops on. We had a second floor room with a balcony over the swimming pool/cabana area. The pool area looked appealing for children and the cabana/bar closed around 10, so things quieted down at that time. Our rate ($95 on hotels.com) included a below-average breakfast, which was served in a grim, dark bar area. No buffet. The front desk, while staffed by several friendly employees, provided the most amusing moment of an otherwise below-average stay when I asked how long it would take to get to Cleveland. I intended to find out about construction along the way, but the answer, "about 6 hours," was so ridiculous that I burst out laughing (its about 3 hours). The young lady was very defensive saying 'I'm from Pennsylvania, not from here, so I don't know.' I asked why on earth she answered when she didn't know. The conversation went downhill from there. Suggestion to management: train employees to use readily-available updated traffic software so they can answer such common questions; not all guests have smartphones on hand. And basic customer service standards would suggest that employees should only answer questions definitively when they are certain the response is correct!

Could Be Better
Booked thru Priceline. Wanted to be close to the airport. Thought it would be much closer than it was. It was a good 5+ minute drive. There are plenty of hotels across the street from the airport. When I arrived, despite many people behind the counter "working", didn't get checked in until the 1 girl "working" got to me. She was very quick and check in was easy. This is a big hotel and there were several small conventions and business meetings going on. Parking was difficult which led to a little bit of a walk. Found the elevator and of course, my room was the furthest down a long hallway. There was another elevator near my room labled "For Employees Only." This hotel is your typical - it's not what it once was. You could tell at some point it was a very nice hotel. It's a bit run down now. The room was dated. The bathroom sink slow to drain. It's location - aside from being a bit far from the airport was right next to a big shopping mall and also next to I90. It was fine for 1 night. The price was right. I would stay there again, but only for a good price.

Really does need updating
I have stayed at this hotel several times as far back as when it was a Sheraton. Service & location are excellant and the bar serves some of the best wings in the area. The rooms however are very dated and in need of major renovations. They are as clean as can be expected considering the age of them. I would NEVER pay the going rate and only book through Priceline if I am just requiring a last minute 1 night stay. Can usually get it for $45/night. If I am going to spend $100 or more, I would book the Fairfield or something newer that also includes breakfast.

It's fine!
We were assigned this hotel and were dismayed by many bad reviews. We had stayed here when it was new - a Sheraton and later when it became the Millenium. We had said "never again". Since we got here, everything has been fine. Check in was quick and efficient, the property is clean and well maintained, and the room is fine. Everything works. is clean and comfortable. The only downside so far, is that the bathroom is small and we are big. Even so, it is well laid out and comfortable. The door to the hallway is not sound proof, but we do not expect people to be hanging around outside. The staff are very friendly and helpful!
