Truly Paradise!
Loved Everything about it- Stay Oceanfront! Mr. Tim Goff, this review is for you. The reviews were so mixed about experiences that I was hesitant to book this hotel but are we all ever glad we did?! And there was approximately thirty of us! Minor issue with assigned room when I first arrived and they switched us without hesitation to the most beautiful hotel room I have ever stayed in- Room 706! You cannot go wrong! In a party of approx. 30, some wanted to be moved because of height issues and then others wanted to be placed next to family members and the entire staff never faltered! They accommodated every whim that was in their realm and greeted us with a smile every morning. The location was unbeatable and the ocean front rooms were breathtaking and quite spacious (we are a family of five!) For all the complaints on here, I am not sure if they are just used to luxury or like to complain ;) The hotel is older but they are replacing carpet with tile which makes a world of difference in a seaside hotel. I didn't notice if the balconies had rust because I was too busy with a spectacular view. Hats off to Paradise Plaza Inn; I wouldn't book anywhere else and will recommend you each and every time. Thanks for a truly amazing family experience! We look forward to returning. My aunt, who is a travel agent and worldwide business traveler, feels the exact same way and will be recommending you highly. Thanks Tim, Gigi, and anyone else that we had the pleasure of meeting on our super family vacation/reunion. Great for all ages! Go to Shenanigans Pub for a great meal, Trimpers Carnival for younger kids, and Hooper's Crab House for a really nice dinner!

Fabulous views, Outstanding hotel staff
Overall, my stay was fantastic, although it didn't start out that way. Upon initially arriving at the hotel, it was difficult to find parking. The front lot was full, and little did I know there were other lots for this hotel. I went to check in and the hotel staff went out of their way to assist me in finding parking. They even walked me to the lot, which was a few blocks away. It was very impressive. The rooms are in good shape, and they have the most outstanding views on the beach. We were on the 8th floor (out of 8) with an ocean front balcony. There's also 2-person Jacuzzi tubs which you can shower in. It makes it great for romantic getaways.

Great Location
Four of us stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. There was plenty of room and having 2 bathrooms was great. There were plenty of towels, which some hotels skimp on -- 3 or 4 bath towels for each person each day. The bottled water provided each day was also very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was nice for breakfast, and we received a discount coupon for each day -- best grits I've ever tasted. The pool was a little disappointing. It was in the parking lot between the dumpster and some kind of equipment that made a lot of noise.Overall, our stay was very nice.

Pleasantly Surprised
So me, my wife and 2 month old son recently stayed there over the memorial weekend, and I must admit we were pleasantly surprised. The location of the hotel is absolutely awesome and actually the hotel as a whole was pretty nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful which is a surprise nowadays as most hotels staff act as if they couldn't be bothered. From the reception to the cleaning crew everyone was nothing but nice. The room we had was very clean upon arrival and was actually it wasn't so run down and beat up looking as a lot of hotels along the boardwalks usually be. The view from our 8th floor room onto the ocean was a thing of beauty. From the early sunrise to the late sunset, to the moon beaming across the ocean was breath-taking. I loved the fact the room included a book of all the local restaurants and activities to do along the beach. The rooms are spacious and well laid out. . I really only had a few cons but they weren't deal breakers at all.CONS:First the TV guide says there is HBO, but actually our room didn't seem to get that channel. Wasn't such a big deal as we did other activities like walking along the boardwalk to occupy our time. The heat lamp in the bathroom seemed to be directly over the metal shower pole, which I'm assuming if left on for a substantial amount of time could end up actually burning someone if they touched the pole. We didn't use the lamp much, but just seemed like it could be a bit dangerous. We stayed in room 804 and the balcony door lock was broke. If someone was courageous enough they could actually climb onto adjacent rooms balconies and potentially get in to someone else's room. Although this seems very dangerous, it's definitely not a far fetched thing to happen. We never complained about this, but like I said others may. We weren't too worried as our neighbors seemed quiet and reserved to themselves. Not sure if it was advertised as or not, but beds certainly didn't seem like queen size. Felt more like doublesThe elevators are pretty slow, but most hotels are also so not a deal breaker by any means. Even with these minor things I still would highly recommend this hotel to someone and we also plain to make Ocean City one o our annual trips and we will most certainly be staying at this hotel again in hopefully the same room as well. So to sum it up in a nutshell, WE LOVED THIS PLACE!!!

Awesome Views and Location...Dated Decor!
We stayed here for two nights in early May 2013, in room 802. This was a top floor, corner "Marlin Suite" with two balconies. The location right on the boardwalk and views of the ocean and east/northeast of the bay were absolutely awesome! The building seems pretty old, and not overly clean, however the bedding did seem fresh and a bit newer. I am not overly anal about cleanliness, but this was the first time I've stayed somewhere that I felt like I wanted to keep using hand sanitizer...and not just on my hands. Even so, I feel it was worth it for access to the boardwalk and great ocean breeze coming into the room. The pool and restaurant were not open yet for the season. For dinner, we ended up in the town of Berlin at "The Globe" Theater for their "Tuesday Night Trivia", and some of the most delicious and interesting food I've ever had!
