Things I didn¿¿¿t like:Shower very weakReception can take up to 3 minutes to answer calls. Including room service.Beds too soft (you may like this)Minibar only had 1 of every item. So we had to call down if 2 people needed a beer. Hence ringing for 3 mins.8th floor worth it as the 8th floor residents gets sole use of the lounge include free drinks between 6 ¿¿¿ 8 PMOnly paid ¿¿130.00 per night so I can¿¿¿t complain too much.Worth a try if you can¿¿¿t afford the Radisson blu leeds

Pleasantly surprised
I stayed for one night on a business trip to Leeds and was pleasantly surprised, didn't read any reviews prior to booking but just took a punt as it was located in the city centre. Although lifts were old and creaky, I had a pleasant stay overall. My room was on the 1st floor overlooking the city centre and was very quite. Had dinner in the restaurant and was really please with the quality of the food and the service. Please, please, please keep the duck spring roll on the starter menu as I will orde this again when I am up next!

Warm welcome
I have just spent 2 nights at the queens with some friends for a double birthday celebration, on arrival we were checked in at reception by Kirsty who we found to be very welcoming and helpful she asked us if it was a special occasion and we informed her of our birthday celebrations and within ten minutes of being in our room we received a visit from David with a birthday card and a invite to join them in the bar for a complimentary drink,what a lovely touch!. The hotel is very spacious and our room overlooking Leeds city centre was very modern and clean although I didn't find the bed comfortable that could be just down to personal preference.we had dinner, bed and breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed every last mouthful! We never came across one member of staff that we didn't find happy and helpful which makes a refreshing change! Everyone seemed genuinely interested in us getting the most out of our stay nothing was too much trouble.will defiantly return great hotel,great location and great staff especially David always making the effort to check we were having a nice stay whenever we saw him.

1930's great hotel
Stayed for one night whilst my car was being serviced, this is such an iconic hotel as I used to work in Leeds and travel from the train station home each night. We were surprised at the value and having a room overlooking Leeds City centre. Surprisingly quiet for a city centre hotel, wonderful decor and pleasant setting for a pre-dinner drink. Staff friendly, good base for shopping or visiting other Leeds events.

Lovely art deco building
The Queens is a beautiful building and delivers on most counts. The only negatives that I had was the bedding was old and the pillows hard and there was a bar of soap suck in our sink from the previous guests. The bar area is a fantastic room. However, the night we stayed there was only five other people in it. The reason being, it lacked atmosphere. I believe that if they dimmed the lights and played 1930's music to match the deco theme then it would be more attended.
