Long weekend in Valencia
Good location within walking distance to the historic center (approx 15mins) and nearby metro stops. Nice quiet rooms facing the backyard, not the most exciting view but the rooms were quiet at least. Space was good for us. Pleasant helpful staff at the reception. Happy with the choice and would stay again.

Modern hotel, just outside the city centre
We stayed at the Puerta Valencia for one night on our way back to La Marina. The hotel is located just to the south east of the city centre which takes about 15 minutes by foot. To get to the city centre we walked along the beautiful museum park which was once the old riverbed. The Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. We were upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise. The suite was large, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of food including eggs, bacon, sausages, cheese, ham, cereals, fruit and pastries. Parking is available under the Hotel for a nominal charge.

Nice hotel looking forward to staying at another Silken
We stayed for 7 nights for leisure purpose. It is at 10 min walk from the nearest tube.Bedroom are nice and the only negative points are :- the sockets that are not at all noiseless (we could hear the neighbor switching them),- and the pillows a bit too flat for one of us.The staff at the reception is ok and efficient.About the restaurant, a good effort is made too propose two differents card menu during the week. All the staff at the restaurant where very professional and pleasant.

Friendly and helpful Staffs
Pleasant hotel environment. Staffs are all very patient and helpful for English speaking customers. The parking entry is a little bit hard to find. Still very close to the City of Art and Science about 20 mins walk.

Friendly and helpful receptionists
We stayed here on probably the noisiest night of the year in Valencia, the final night of "Las Fallas". The room was excellent and even though we were at the front, and the fireworks were still going off at 3 am, we managed a decent night's sleep. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The reception staff were extremely helpful, giving good advice about transport and insisting that we left our luggage on our second day.That night is obviously the most expensive of the year as well, because even though the rate was comparable with other hotels for that night,it looks much better value on other dates.The reception area was a bit dark and looked worn and the surrounding area is run down with lots of boarded up buildings. We deliberately chose this hotel because it is not in the centre of the old town, but it is an easy walk to the main attractions and the metro to the beach was very convenient.We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food, but Valencia is full of interesting places to eat.
