It's okay
The reviews make this place seem a little overrated. For a 4-star hotel I would have expected more. There isn't a restaurant in it. We had a junior suite on the 2nd floor facing Via Medina. The room was clean, well stocked. Shower was small (and I'm used to small showers). The shower door wouldn't open all the way since the bidet partially blocked it. Not a huge deal, we got in which is all that matters. The front desk was helpful but not overly friendly. I didn't feel very safe, but that could be Naples, not the hotel. For the price, I think we could have stayed somewhere else with more amenities. I have to give credit for the free Wi-Fi in the room (that's always a plus in Europe) but wouldn't recommend and probably wouldn't stay again. With that said, it wasn't a bad hotel, just not memorable. Breakfast was standard with meats, breads, eggs, fruit juice, baked goods, etc.

Great location with comfortable rooms, good service and nice breakfast
The hotel is ideally situated on major bus lines, a few blocks from the ferries, and a short walk to the Royal Palace, the Opera House and lots of good restaurants and other attractions. Our room was fairly large and comfortable with a balcony overlooking a beautiful fountain; the street was noisy with the windows open, but fine when they were closed. The breakfast was ample and of good quality, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing room
We stayed for 4 nights in March. The hotel is well situated and the staff are pleasant. We booked a junior suite so we could have more room. We were given a junior suite at the back of the hotel with no natural light. Outside there was a very noisy fan blowing smelly fumes from the ?kitchen so you couldn't have the doors open. The decor of the room and bathroom was tired and it is in need of an update. The room was number 303. I had the feeling that the receptionist knew it was not the best of rooms when she gave us the key. We should have asked to be given another room but why should you have to? We had already paid to have a better grade room and we felt as if we were given the worst option within that request. We wouldn't stay again.

Good location, nice staff
The location of the hotel is perfect. The most interesting spots are within walking distance. The stop of the city tour lines are near by. A charming small restaurants are situated around. The staff is very friendly. I Definitely recommend the hotel.

forgot to post my review
This is the most wonderful hotel. I had a beautiful double room and had a lovely breakfast everday. My son is in the Navy and lived a few short blocks from the hotel so I felt safe walking over to visit him. Hotel is close to the port so a short walk to the ferries and also short work to the famous shopping street. The hotel staff is so patient and full of great suggestions. Really a perfect place and hope to return again this May.
