A Place to sleep
This hotel is a clean place to sleep without any pretensions. It is cose to a bus station and to a good sized supermarket. Of course to get to Venice it will take you around 45 minutes taking first a bus and afterwards a vaporetto, but the trip is worth it.When you get in or out the hotel be carefull with your belongings because sometimes you can find some people looking for a tourist to surprise. There is a very good restaurant two blocks from the hotel. Ask for it at the reception.

Waste of time & money
We stayed at this hotel last night. Rooms are small, plastic cups in the bathroom, no tissues, breakfast was disgraceful!!!! If you are looking for a nice boutique hotel then I wouldn't bother with this one!!!!

Unfriendly Staff
We stayed at the "Quality" hotel Delfino fro 30 April - 4 May 2013. The staff is most unfriendly and rude. They are also not very helpful and we felt like aliens. No - "Welcome to our hotel, hope you enjoy your stay" No smile, Nothing. The breakfast is the hotel is the worst I had on my 14 day long trip. Eggs taste like rubber, half cooked bacon, tasteless cheese and bread, bread, bread! I will not recommend this hotel to anyone!! The rooms were neat and clean.

Security Issues -Unresolved - Refusal to call police
Fine Quality Inn Hotel, lovely rooms, and decent accomodations except the hotel is/has not been accomodating to guests who reported being lasered by someone outside the hotel. Refused to call the police - Offered a single room/bed to replace Jr Suite. Instead told them some nut from a mental institution is at it again. ( saying the police won't do anything about it - he was in a mental institution but they won't take him back. (Leaving my daughter and grandson to worry that perhaps some nut has a gun with a laser pointed. Offered no adjustment to the 160 Euro's charged to my credit card because they offered a different room ( even though there was a single bed with two guests (adult daughter and adult grandson) whom I reserved and paid for.So they knowingly rented a Jr Suite that was not the quality one who travels expects... clean, well appointed, service and quality and the security of alternate accomodations when something is very wrong. I requested a partial refund of their 3 night stay (they refused because they offere them a room (altho it was inadequate. I won't book another reservation at this hotel

Perfect Base for Venice Trip
My husband booked this hotel for a surprise trip to Venice. At first I was a bit dubious as it's not right in Venice but I should not have let this worry me in the slightest. The Delfino Hotel is situated in Mestre which is a 10 minute bus journey into Venice. And very conveniently the bus stops are right outside the hotel door. Bus tickets can be purchased in reception. We arrived into Treviso Airport and then got a shuttle bus which left us off at Mestre train station. An easy 10 minute walk found us right at the hotel door - it really is very easy to find. Check in was painless and we made it quickly to our room. It was quite small but to be honest I don't really need a large room when on a city break. There is free WIFI but it is quite patchy so really depends whereabouts in the hotel you are as to how good the connection is going to be. There is a supermarket beside the hotel (it's actually part of the whole hotel building) which is great for getting snacks or other essentials. NB there is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was ok. Other reviews I read made it out to be awful therefore I was pleasantly surprised. There was cereal, pastries, toast, scrambled eggs - perfectly adequate in my opinion. If this doesn't suit there are plenty of cafes in the vicinity. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Venice which is an absolutely stunning city.
