Take a lesson from your restaurant staff
After issues with reservations and with getting one of our rooms cleaned, it was the superb service of the staff in the restaurant that saved this stay. The food is ok but the wait staff are so very good and really take care of the guests. The location is good for meetings at the nearby corporate hq and the shuttle to/from LAX is quick and handy.

convenient hotel to stay at near the airport
I stated this hotel while traveling on business. The hotel was conveniently located near shopping malls and the beach. I tried the restaurant one night and the food was pretty good. I had the shrimp pizza special and thought it would be a personal pizza but it was actually full size and quite tasty. the rooms were small but clean and you have to love the free Doubletree cookie.

Best Park & Fly for LAX
We fly quite a bit out of LAX and have tried many Park & Fly hotels as well as just using the long-term parking lots. The Doubletree in El Segundo is now our favorite!! From a very easy check-in, to departure for the airport and back, we could not have asked for a more pleasant experience.The front desk staff was extremely helpful - honored our request for a non-smoking, quiet room. The pub/grill bartender was fun, informative and poured a "mean" cocktail. Rates were great, restaurant bill was fair. Their shuttle service superior over other LAX hotels. I would highly recommend this property. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Pick up and delivery to LAX great...What more can I say?

Clean and comfortable
Stayed here on a business trip and felt it was a very clean and well run property. The room was comfortable and spacious and the location was quite convenient to LAX. The onsite restaurant was a dud, especially for the price. Pretty bad considering it was expensed through my company that I still noticed how outrageously overpriced it was. The service was very good though and was always greeted with a smile. One tip, make sure you are vigilant with the front desk if you need the shuttle to airport later in the evening. I had to wait for nearly an hour after 10pm to finally get picked up, pretty sure they forgot about me waiting outside.
