Fantastic stay
Stayed here first week in June 2013, as a couple with 4 year old child, half board. Our stay was wonderful. Where do I start. The entertainments team are fantastic, and my child availed of the mini club, making friends. The food choice was vast, with something for everyone, and a great opportunity to try new and different dishes. The hotel is beautiful and spotless and offers loads for all ages. There is activities for all ages, from a brill mini club, to dance and water aerobics to name but a few.I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews, as I would be the critical type, but I could not fault almost anything. One possible gripe might be the slow check in, but this is very minor, and doesn't deserve mentioning.I would highly recommend this hotel to all ages, both families and couples.I would, and will return to this hotel.

Worst holiday I've ever had at pablo.
I have been going on holidays for the past 5 years and my worst holiday is at pablo.1st we booked our stay there bcos of free parking we saw online, bt on getting there we were told no free parking unless we park on the street which we did park on the side that there is no parking restrictions or whatsoever then like magic, our rent car was taken away by the police, when weTold d rude staff at d reception, they ask to go to the police station and pay 100 euro saying they cant do anything to help us, we were ignored by them. My partner had to go to the station in a taxi as d hotel could not even offer to help and he ended up paying 200 euros to release his rent car. When we asked for a complaint form, they refused to give us, until I got very angry and asked to speak with their manager, who spoke with them in Spanish to give us and they did. All through our stay there was hell.2ndly,we booked for double bed bt was given single bed and we slept uncomfortably in it till the next day we complained n it was changed.During breakfast, a chef refused to give me the pancake that he was preparing , he said it was for special people, bt unfortunately for him I caught him giving the same pancake to a man who spoke spanish to him, then I went back and confronted him and another chef who witnessed it apologised on his behalf, pleaded with me to accept the pancake. Lastly they ve no facilities for kids in terms of feeding, they didn't consider kids, my daughter now has stomach bug on getting back to london. During lunch and dinner you have to pay for water. I had to plead for hot water several times to make my 3months baby food during dinner which would take them upto 1hour to get, atimes the waiter that l ask jst ignores me and I have to plead with someone else before I can get hot water. The reception staff refused to give me direction to a place saying i should go to the tourist office that was closed. You have to stay a long queue at the reception before you are answered and at the end you don't get any help from them. What an awful experience!!

Good value & nice location
Stayed early June 2013, had a great time & stayed Half Board.Food was good, great choice. For evening dining, it's buffet which varied each day (slightly), cold selections with salads, hams, rice, olives etc. for mains a selection of seafood, beef, pork, chicken even an Italian selection (pastas, pizzas). Wide choice of desserts with even a sugar free dessert offering and local desserts also available, saw some children enjoying jelly and ice cream for pudding and freshly made pancakes for breakfast. Also variety of breads, cheeses, soups, fruits every night. To be honest I couldn't fault the food for variety or quality, as long as you are not expecting a la carte dining, you won't be disappointed.Pools - between the 3 hotels there's a good choice. Finding sun beds and some shade was not a problem and there were 3 of us. You will see the same people reserving "their same beds" but that's the nature of some, there are signs up to ask people not to. Also some pools have signs for no lilos or ball games so that makes the pool areas fairly quiet to sit around, which is nice if you want some peace.Rooms, a bit dated but clean and tidy, but perfectly suitable for a holiday, TV, mini-fridge, beds comfortable with feather pillows (housekeeping will get you foam pillows, bit bumpy). Daily maid service. Really liked the en-suites, with walk-in showers, bathrooms, were modern and very clean (plus hairdryer), with a sliding door. The Air-Con is centrally managed so guests have no control over it. It was OK, but I would have preferred to be able to set it at a lower speed and temperature at night. Only way to turn it off is to take out the room card from the wall . There is a dial on the wall by the bathroom and this did adjust the air-con speed slightly. Our room did have a seaview and beachview - floor 6, I would expect rooms on floors 5 or above to have a reasonable sea view from the balcony. There's a clothes line outside to dry your swimwear. Balcony was a suitable size with 2 chairs and a table. Reasonably private with bevelled glass between the rooms. The balcony wall was full glass in height so no gaps (no railings) to worry about if you have younger children, it was also of a good height and younger children would be able to see out through the glass. There are 4 lifts near the lobby, plus 2 more near the far end near the pool area. So 6 lifts in total, not 3 as mentioned in another post.Free wifi good coverage, and even got it from over our balcony above the sun terrace area.Did find the reception slow for check-in or if you wanted to ask anything, could do with more staff there. The staff in the bar and dining hall plus the maid service were very good and helpful. Staff clearing plates in dining hall at peak evening times could be slow, but that is only to be expected.Happy hour from 5:30 to 6:30 - great, ideal time to come out of the sun before going back to the room, can recommend you sit outside on the sun terrace close to the bar area you can pick up the free wifi too while you enjoy your 2 for 1 drink.Evening entertainment, bit hit and miss & main entertainment from 10 pm till about 11.30 pm so if you want a quiet night ask for a room further away from the bar and evening entertainment. Or a room on the opposite side of the hotel. We were above the entertainment area and with the balcony door closed, it wasn't too noisy for us, but it might be for some. There are also daily activities like yoga and a kids club, also after dinner there's kids entertainment / show outside.Didn't have any problems with noise from other rooms, either side of above and below. Room was actually quieter than expected for such a large hotel. We were staying in early June and the majority of the guests were couples of retirement age and a few families with younger children, also some friends in small groups. Various nationalities, not all British. I think this hotel would suit anyone wanting a reasonably quiet place to simply to relax.Location is good
