A great hotel,spotlessly clean in a good location. Good staff, helpful and always attentive.Good food, fair choice, could do with food information on some things especially for those with allergies.Reception very good and gave us lots of good advice for transport and trips.

Pleasant and quiet break
This wasn't the original hotel we booked we had booked the aqua hotel aquamarina however due to work being carried out on the hotel we were moved. The hotel is very clean and tidy. We stayed in a premium suite that had everything you could want. With a premium suite you get free wifi access however you do have to ask for the code or you won't get it.We stayed on bed and breakfast board basis breakfast was very repetitive however always something to eat. This area is a very quiet area and it appears that it is mainly visited by older Spanish people. The entertainment is all steered towards the Spanish however there is a bar called the drunken duclin' just outside and also the drunken duck across the road that are owned by a British family reasonable priced drinks and English food. As the weather wasn't very warm we didn't use the swimming pool however we did sit in the outside area for a drink and it was very nice.All the staff are very friendly and the maids work tirelessly to ensure a high hygiene is maintained.

Nice place to stay, friendly staff, but oily food
The hotel is clean and has a modern feel to it. The staff was very friendly and we had no problems with our check in. From the hotel it is a 5-minute walk to the beach (although we didn't go there due to the rainy weather). Our room was spotless and of a good size. However, amenities weren't replenished daily, so we ended up having only two slivers of soap for the whole week (luckily we brought our own). As for breakfast and dinner, the choices were plentyful, but the food was very greasy. I was shocked to see how the eggs were almost deepfried in a kettle full of oil. And I wished there was more Catalan cuisine available. As for noise, at night we could sometimes here partying going on somewhere in the distance, but it wasn't a real disturbance.

Good food and friendly staff!
Warm welcome as we were too late for dinner, we were given a free lunch on any day. Hotel is a good 10 minutes from railway station-as always happens at thid time of year nothing was open in resort and hotel was full of senior spanish residents. The food at breakfast and evening meal was varied and of good quality, the staff in reception and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Hotel itself was a bit tired and sister Hotel Onabrava looked more modern but overall cost of accommodation made up for any shortfall. Would visit again because of staff and food.

Fantastic Holiday!
This hotel was fantastic for value. We stayed for 5 days at this hotel, arriving in the day. There was a slight mix up for the first three days because of a room mistake and the hotel had underbooked us, prompting four of us to share a room. Apart from that, the hotel was fantastic stay, the rooms were pristine and very clean, the main hotel was cleaned and well looked after. Room service was excellent and the maids made sure our rooms were tidy for when we got back at night. The food was OK, it was nothing special but nothing too bad. The pool was cold and never did seem to get any warmer, so I stayed away from that after a while. Brilliant hotel in a great location - i would recommend this!
