This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, the rooms were ok and that's the only positive I can give.Food was mediocre at best, and as for the all inclusive drinks well, firstly you are given a card which you hand to the barman who in turn gives you a plastic cup that holds maybe two mouthfuls of beer or cheap coke or whatever, oh and you queue for this because the bar is full of 18 year old mainly Germans all wanting to drink all day and create havoc around the pool, then you have to hand your cup back once you've finished and retrieve your card. These same kids cause havoc outside rooms and around the pool areas in the early hours as well, nightmare.If your young then this hotel would be ideal because you can act your age and be allowed to do so, which is fine, I have no problem with that, I feel that I gatecrashed their party because I booked an allocation on arrival deal, the first time I have ever done this and the last, so I should not have been staying there but having said that the holiday company should not have allocated four 50 plus year olds in this hotel knowing full well that the clientele were of a certain age.In summary this is a great hotel for youngsters but if your looking for a relaxing break look elsewhere.

This hotel was grubby and the staff really don¿¿¿t know the meaning of customer service from been offered Charlie by the bar staff! To just pure ignorance!!! The swimming pools were freezing! And the food was awful! The city it¿¿¿s self was nice and the nightclubs and pubs were brill! But as for this Hotel it no more than a 2*.

Just back on the 25th from costa brava we stayed at the h top royal star in lorretdemar fab hotel spotless clean. Food was great plenty of choice. Staff very nice and friendly. A 5 mins walk from town

We staid here for four days and it was a very nice stay. The room was good size, not to small, clean. The bathroom was also very nice.The food was very good, very tasty. There was a lot to chose from in both breakfast and dinner. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.The location is ok. Not very far from the beach and shopping.Never used the pool so can't comment on that, but the poolside seemed nice.The only thing I didn't really like was that it was very crowded in the hotel. There was people everywhere all the time.. But the hotel staff made it so no one had to wait in lines at the restourant or in reception. So respect for staff on that point.Overall only a good memories about stay in this hotel.

Just got back from spending 11 nights at the hotel royal star, lloret de mar, we went with siesta coach holidays, our 3rd time travelling with them and they are fantastic, the new coaches with Individual entertainment screens are great, nice and comfy, plenty of leg room and a fab hostess that servers great value drinks and snack for the whole journey. After reading some of the reviews we were a bit worried about this hotel but to be honest we found it to be a great value holiday for us and our 4 kids, 18, 13, 9 & 5 yrs, we had 2 rooms that were always very clean, there was always someone cleaning somewhere, the hotel was kept very clean, the food that so many others had moaned about we all round to be very good, plenty of choices at every meal, always at least one choice of fish and then chicken, pork chops, stew etc plus a different type of pasta and choice of sauce at every meal, plus pizza, chips, lots of salads so over all I do t know what some people eat at home if this choice isn't good enough, In between meal the restaurant served snack, burgers, bacon, chips, cold meats, bread, ice pops etc. we found most of the staff to be very friendly and willing to have a laugh with the kids, the drinks were fine and never very long queues even though it was easter half term and the hotel was very busy, the entertainment was quite Spanish great if you like to dance but they did put on A few good show, it would have been good if there had been more for the kids to do in the day as the weather wasn't that great while we were there, the pools were good, the indoor one was very warm. Pound for pound this was a great value holiday and would I go back there again, yes I would, you can't expect to get five star quality and pay 3 star prices, a holiday is what you make it and if you are away from, work, shopping, cooking and cleaning and spending time with your family stop moaning about the bad points and enjoy it, we did.
