Could have been so much better if clean!
Just returned from staying here for four nights on an all inclusive basis, I really don't want to slate the place, it is trying to serve everyone one and meet their food, entertainment and holiday needs, not an easy one, given the differing nationalities using the place. There were four of us staying, all men, ( no not a stag and we are not kids ,all in our forties bar one) yet again I feel the need to apologise for some of my fellow brits ( went to Benidorm last year and was appalled by some of the Brits behaviour) one group of two families really were the pits, one of the mums thought it acceptable to turn up to breakfast in her pyjamas and top ( lacking any underwear- bra or pants), used the floor and table as a dustbin for all the food they didn't want - dumping enough food to feed 2-3 people at every single sitting, got drunk early in the day ( typical behaviour - it's all inclusive so need to drink and waste as much as possible.) I got rather frustrated when one of the senior waiters in the dining room let fly a tirade about british visitors, I accept that the people he was talking about were the dregs of the UK but please don't tar us all with the same brush ( as this is a budget hotel I accept he does meet a high percentage of the worst of us.) We were always polite, attempted our best to speak some Spanish and didn't waste food as food waste drives me nuts! The Spanish have a system called Imserso this is where the Spanish government heavily subsidises a holiday for OAP's, yes some of them were rude, jumped queues and looked at you like you are scum, but if you take the time to be friendly you can be amazed at the results, I watched an old Spanish couple playing a game, slightly similar to dominoes, i speak maybe ten words of Spanish and they spoke no English, however I passed a nice couple of hours watching them play, learning the rules and we had a few laughs ( amazing as we couldn't talk!).They had their misconceptions of the British ( given some of the Brits behaviour in the hotel I can't imagine why) I however have less misconceptions as I am not your typical Brit, firstly my wife is not English and my family originate from Ireland - maybe that's why I am more tolerant?) . On the flip side an elderly British couple who started talking to me complained about the amount of Spaniards? Hello, we are in Spain, who do you expect to meet, Australians? To all the British people who don't like the Spanish....don't go to Spain, stay in EnglandThe Food: Lots of people on trip advisor have moaned about the food, let me address this, copious quantities of food are available, loads of salad options, slightly limited meat options ( though the Veal was sublime) Bread options choices available and puddings too, loads of fresh fruit ( which people were trying to steal from the dining room to eat later, why, you are on all inclusive, you can eat 08.00am through to 23.30 pm everyday, what do you need to steal? The food is not A La Carte but these are not posh prices, this is a 3 star budget hotel, given this the food is more than acceptable, service in the dining room was very good until the last two days as staff were clearly annoyed with the Brit family from hell and then standards dropped for the other Brits, this was a disappointment and unprofessional - how many times do I have to say it¿¿¿¿¿¿we are not all the same!Bar service: At some all inclusive hotels service can be slow to limit the amount you can order and consume, on the whole this was not a problem, however, the female staff ( trainees from Eastern Europe I think) were excellent, ready with a smile and a laugh even given the language barrier, the younger male staff, downright rude, would walk past you to serve a female guest and spend awhile flirting with them and ignoring you, the older staff behind the bar ( one of whom appeared to be the boss) very off hand and unwelcoming and sometimes rude, felt like screaming yes I am British but not a scum bag!!!! This did let

Staff helpful and friendly thats the good point.
GOOD POINTS - Staff very friendly and helpful, restaurant staff very efficient, bar staff very attentive, entertainment staff worked very hard although bingo was a bit drawn out, and as previous reviews says you can only see anything from waist up unless you get in early for a seat at the front, our room was kept clean. Had to complain twice about noise of tele from spanish apartment next door in the early hours which was quickly dealt with.OTHER POINTS - APARTMENT - Never slept, walls were that thin could hear other apartments toilet flushing, showers running, a few hen/stag partieswhich were very noisy, we had room 1407 on the forth floor, was constantly woken up by talking/ singing of people coming in early hours of the morning and also the delivery wagons in the mornings coming, unloading whilst leaving their engines running. POOL AREA - sunloungers with no cushions were so uncomfortable and looked like they needed a good wash. Whilst at the pool one day a group of lazy people had left glasses, food which attracted the pigeons, the staff never cleared away from around the pool. FOOD - Was not able to take hot drink out of the restaurant for early morning coffee in your room, breakfast was about the best meal at this hotel, meals were never very hot, cooked chicken had no colour (white) proberbly tasted very nice but was so off putting, food in general was of poor quality.

Hotel Bali
My partner and myself have just returned from a 12 night all inclusive stay at the hotel Bali. From checking in(which only took minutes) to when we left the staff treat us courteously, friendly and professionally. The hotel is bigger than we expect. I had also e-mailed 2 days prior to our departure requesting a sea view and low floor, which is just what we got!The food was very varied, freshly prepared and hot and the salads were very appealing. the drinks were plentiful plus the bar area had a TV with Sky sports which enabled us to keep tabs on our football teams. The 2 pools are a good size and stocked with plenty of sunbeds so there is never a shortage. There were always plenty of pleasant staff on hand so queuing for food/drinks wasn't needed.A safe is available in your room for the paltry sum of 2 euros a day, which we thought was excellent and much cheaper than other hotels we have stayed at recently.my partner got locked in the bathroom on the first day due to a faulty lock. i reported this to reception and 6 minutes later a workman appeared to release her. Superb customer service. We enjoyed our first stay here so much we are now planning our next visit next year for even longer. The only thing we didnt take to was the entertainment, but this could be as it was early season the entertainment team were finding there feet.A bonus for us was the free WI-FI around the reception area which you can use for your smart phone etc. this saved me a fortune when compared with on recent visits to Spain and Majorca.A lot of hotels could learn a lot about customer service from the Hotel Bali.Well done and keep up the high standard

Good value
I go abroad 4 times a year many of these in 3* all inc hotels, some are better at doing things than others and vice versa so i base my opinion on what i pay and what i get for my money ,I went as a single traveller all inc for 2 weeks at a cost of ¿¿550, good points Food plenty of choice Drinks proper pint glasses and no queues Location up a hill but didn't affect me and was pretty central to everything Rooms were fine the standard 3* hotel room you get anywhere else Pool area (bottom pool ) was very nice and nice pool bar to accompany thisGood tv section of the bar which had all sky sports channels on.Only downside I would say to the hotel which didnt affect me but which may affect families was the entertainment, after 10pm they seemed to just put Spanish music on for the Spanish to dance to which I thought was unfair as the Spanish had their own dancing room next door to the entertainment room! Would I stay again? At that price defo yes!!
