Great stay
Just returned from an overnight stay. Hotel handily placed about a ten minute walk from Piccadilly Train Station and about the same to the shops. We were there for a concert at the MEN Arena and that was approx. 15-20 minute walk.We had requested a quiet room and were allocated one at the rear of the hotel. We heard no noise from other guests. Nice and spacious with comfortable beds. Tastefully decorated. A few stains on the room carpet but otherwise all good. Blackout linings to the curtains ensured a good night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and the toiletries provided were good quality. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in our booking. Very large selection including both continental and full English to choose from - the cooked breakfast was great and I was pleased that it included freshly cooked mushrooms and tomatoes. Too often these are tinned. A little disappointed with the quality of the orange juice and the decaf coffee, but apart from those two small niggles. it was really very nice.We enjoyed a drink in the bar before dinner. Some great offers on cocktails. We also ate dinner in the restaurant. There was a special menu for residents, but we chose to order from the regular menu. We couldn't fault our meal. The three courses were delicious - washed down with a bottle of their house wine.All in all a great stay and I hope to return on my next visit.

Great Location but lacks amenities
Great location and expensive. Friendly staff. Quick response from staff. I have to give 3* because of lack of other services like No breakfast included in the room charges, carpets are old and dirty. Internet service not included in room charges. No bottled water in the room or hotel. Overall, satisfied with the cleanliness and great great location. walking distance to many attraction in the city of Manchester.

Loved my stay
This was the first time I stayed at this hotel and it was well worth the money paid. It has a good location in the heart of Manchester and the room was very nice especially the bathroom, this was of high quality with a nice deep bath. will definitely stay again.

Great Hotel, Good Central Location
Stayed here in April for my friends hen weekend and we had a great time, location is great, rooms very clean and the staff were very helpful and efficient. Also the Cocktail Bar in the hotel was great, had a wide choice of drinks and the staff were very welcoming! Would definitely return to both the Hotel and Bar!

Great Hotel in a good location
I stayed with my girlfriend for two nights at the beginning of June and was really impressed with this hotel. Check in was swift but welcoming. The room (a Premier King Room) felt huge when we first walked in and was definitely worth the upgrade price. The bedroom TV was larger then most places I've stayed, at 32" according to Expedia. The bar in the basement level '24 Bar & Grill' was stylish and welcoming, as well as being reasonably priced for a city hotel at around ¿¿3.50 per pint of lager and deals on cocktails for residents. Staff were attentive and and friendly.The room had huge blackout curtains which were greatly appreciated the morning after an enjoyable night out in the area, and worked so well I assumed our clock was broken as it said 09:30 but the room was as dark as midnight. The reasoning for my lower rating on value is due to the room price looking like it was being inflated due in part to several concerts and international football matches being played in Manchester, however this is only an assumption on my part and it maybe normal for the price to fluctuate around this time. Also I did want to book breakfast but at approximately ¿¿54 for both of us for the two mornings we were there I just couldn't justify it. Based on my recent stay I'd happily return for another weekend break and look forward to returning sometime soon.
