Good value. Comfortable
Stayed one night when having a night out in central Manchester. Hotel near city centre nightlife and just couple of minutes walk from Piccadilly Station.Booked single room - but was provided with very comfortable double. Reasonable size room. Very clean. King size bed - very comfortable.Dressing table, wardrobe and flat screen TV.Good size bathroom. Bath/shower. Clean, with toiletries provided. Room and hotel overall could do with some updating redecoration - but all clean in in good orderFriendly and welcoming reception staff and everything well organised. Good value for a overnight stay.

Perfect value for money
The hotel is in the absolute centre of the city and it's not too expensive considering the location. Close by are Picadilly train station, coach station, trams to Old Trafford, O2 Apollo is some 15 minutes walk. I arrived at 11 am and could check in early. The room was nice with a kettle, bed very comfy. You really don't need more for a few days!

Overnight stay
Stayed at the Gardens on the 23rd May after a concert at the Manchester Arena, room although basic was very clean, had a nice comfy bed, and had the other usual hotel things, tv, tea making etc. Situation is ideal on Market street, right in the city centre and was very quiet at night even taking into account it's location. Special mention for the breakfast which was cooked to order( no buffet ) but was definately worth the wait. Staff were friendly and accomodating.

Close to Piccadilly station
My single room at this hotel was ¿¿39 for a comfortable bed, TV, and bathroom. What I was most pleased about was how close this place was to Manchester Piccadilly. Really easy to find. I also found the reception staff to be really friendly and helpful. I arrived early and left my bags at reception to go exploring. Stay here if you are in transit and need a comfortable bed close to the train station.

Fair but not too comfortable
I recommend the hotel for its price and for the location, however its clearness and level of noise makes the stay almost unbearable. If you have a room with a window then the level of noise coming from the street (even if the windows open to the back) is intolerable; in case you choose a room without a window then you end-up against a wall with the elevator. And, after I changed the room twice (the staff was very willing to help me) I have eventually ended up in a room with low level of noise but stuffy and sweaty (!).The breakfast is abundant, but as for the quality of ¿¿¿brit¿¿¿ sausages I suggest you go for the veggie option - still it is a good value for money.
