What an improvement in a hotel
Going to Glagow to see a concert on 6th April this year, we managed to get the Marriott on a good deal. We had been here a few times before but the service and food in the restaurant started going downhill big time. What a lovely surprise we got. There were three menus for evening dinner. Pity we had eaten before we got there. Disappointing that meal was too! The menus were lovely and had we been staying a second night, would have had difficulty choosing as there was a lovely choice. Our room was lovely as ever and I had one of the best night's sleep for ages. The bed and pillows were the comfiest in a hotel I have had in a long long time.Our breakfast in the morning was excellent. Shown to our table, got a pot of coffee for myself and tea for my husband. Last time I ordered coffee which had been reduced to cups then, I never got it. The food was lovely and plenty selection. The fried bread was a treat. There are not many hotels that have fried bread. Lovely and crisp and not greasy. Topped with fried egg and lovely sausages on the side, nice mushrooms. Amazing. Please more hotels have fried bread. We will come back nowLouise and Dave, Aberdeen

Lovely Weekend Break
We had a 2 night stay in April. The staff were all helpful and the rooms were to a good standard. Breakfast was wonderful. We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and have never had a bad experience. Will book this hotel again very soon for another lovely weekend in Glasgow.

Great stay
Stayed at the Marriott on 21st April for 3 nights.Was attending Health Conference at SECC.HotelStaff were friendly and helpful,check in was quick and we were showed to our rooms.Room was clean,bed very comfortable just what you need after a long day.breakfast was grand with the choice of cereals and a fry up.Can't really say anything about the Spa as I didn't use it.It's about 20 mins walk from the Hotel to city centre and the same to SECC.Would stay here again without a doubt.

Rooms extremely poor quality of bedrooms
We stayed on Saturday, we booked three rooms for our party, there are standard, deluxe and executive rooms, be warned there are no difference in the rooms, the difference is as to wether u get a dressing gown or slippers etcThe executive lounge is very poor, you get free crisps (2 packets and free soft drink only) on a Friday and Saturday.When I complained it fell on deaf ears,

Over priced
Hotel was lovely as went in bit dark staff were friendly enough room was clean we were in room 1221 not cheap for 2 nites the noise next door it was like cupboard stay use in out door was noisy at 7 this morn as well clanking of bottles Evan wen put shhh sign on door no difference was glad not on business get not much sleep needed bit rest as not feeling great was noisy door siting etc . Had to pay for car park it terrible next to building site pot holes etc very rough ground minibuses in carpark took us while to get car out no much room shouldn't have to pay for carpark in that state swimming was nice only fault from changing room to pool have good walk along corridor up rough few stairs xx
