Very tired hotel
Stayed here for one night, room was very basic, in desperate need of redecorating, if you pay full price, more fool you. Breakfast was ok but again basic, poor choice of drinks, coloured water (orange) but no flavour, bacon could have been used as tracing paper

Nice or a night or 2.
Stayed for a night very reasonable price,nice bar and .lounge area,went out for a meal,and had morning breakfast which was nice lots of choice,wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer but ok for a night or 2,it is basic but good value.

You get what you pay for
we stayed here 10th - 13th may . We had booked an upgrade to a seaview and our room was on the 8th floor. The room was a decent size but not that clean with a few short and curlys in the bathroom and some bits of facial hair that were stuck to the silicone around the basin.( All cleaned off with bacterial wipes that I always take!!!!) We were at the back of the hotel which overlooked a club which on a friday and sat is very noisy from the revellers in the early hours (not the Hotels fault). Sat night we were also woken up by the fire alarm ( at least we know it worked!) It was apparently set off by someone smoking and then spraying air freshener under the smoke detector. We had a fridge in our room which was useful as we like fresh milk for our cuppa but it was turned down really low but by turning it up a fraction the milk froze.The food was plentiful in the Harbour restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised with the choice. We enjoyed the entertainment in the ballroom and on the whole it was all good value for money.Would we stay here again?? Probably not.

Badly in need of revamping every department
We upgraded room and restaurant.Room upgrade was sea view, that was alright. Bathroom tiling not finished around toilet cistern. Bath panel did not finish to top of bath, Short. Bedroom was a no smoking room but it stunk of tobacco. Complained to reception manager, he said you can't control stopping people from smoking. Perhaps they could put some air purifiers in the rooms !!Drawers in dresser unit did not open, they were all jammed. Told reception but said that we would not use them. They did not repair even so.Lifts not working, kept jamming. Too dated, did not like to risk getting stuck. Very tiring although we were only on floor 4. Think our room was 439.Restaurant, we were there three nights, two nights nobody came and asked us if we wanted wine or water. They are loosing out on their profits by not selling these.Food was cold on server if you went in late for dinner.Very messy presentation of food especially desserts. If they brought in a new supply ie jelly, they would flop the old jelly on top of the new one just brought in. We brought it to the restaurant manager attention, and he said he would have words with the chefs who brought the food in. It was better on the third night. Management needs better customer care.

Bit miffed the pool shut early as we really wanted to use that later on . Not so full of old folk as me and my kids are not old, but travelled with some lovely old timers on the bus,.. Great to see such a busy establishment who have clearly got the right idea to keep business thriving with coach loads full of folk .. Longer time in Brugge would have been nice, but I've done the Ostend trip which does give u the whole day .. I love National Holiday trips, they are absolute bargains ..
