Great hotel, great location, great staff
My wife and I stayed at the hotel in early June. The hotel is very nice. Very good breakfast. very nice bar area. Great location, just near all major shops and restaurants. The stand out for me was the staff. They were all really lovely and cared for our every need. The weather was quite hot during our stay and the air conditioning failed. They changed our room and provided a fan which made all the difference. It was fixed the next day but the manager and reception staff made sure we were very comfortable. Thanks guys. Great stay. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Well located, comfortable but pricey
Dijon's old city is compact and picturesque - this hotel is very well situated for self-paced walking tours and for road access to the Burgundy vineyards. The rooms are well appointed and spacious, but the budget-conscious traveller may bridle at the fairly steep prices.

Great location, but another one needing an update to keep with Sofitel name
We enjoyed one night in Dijon back in May 2012 and had an overall good experience with our stay at the Dijon Sofitel, mainly due to a quiet room and very nice staff. Our room definitely needs an update, as you will see with the photos and felt that the Sofitel name/brand don't really match this hotel's appearance. We also arrived during the time when the tram work was taking place directly across from the hotel, so it was a bit nail-biting trying to drive around to find out how to get to the hotel's side entrance...but we managed. The hotel is also in a good location and close to good restaurants and stores.

Ok but not Sofitels normal quality
Excellent location in the centre of the city. Hotel looking rather tired. Service was ok but not what you would normally expect from the quality Sofitel brand. The pictures of the snazzy rooms on all websites are not the same as the majority of the rooms. I was in a rather dated and scruffy room which need renovation.
