Great Hotel, great stuff
Hotel Philippe le Bon is a great hotel with very friendly and helpful stuff. The room was great, (clean, large- in comparison with most rooms in France- and with a wi-fi connection). The hotel also has a great restaurant and a small bistrot to spend your time pleasantly. Its inside the old city and very close to interesting spots.I would strongly reccomend it to anyone who ll visit Dijon. The only disadvantage (if you could call it that way) is the fact that breakfast is not included in the price of the room, but this is something very common when you travel to France.

Very nice and central Hotel
A good Hotel for a city trip! Everything was perfect, the staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and good furnished (a bit chilly).The bed vas very confutable and big. The only negative thing was that there is no room-service during the day. We wanted to have some wine and tea in room but that was impossible.

Comfortable & Convenient stay
This hotel was in a good location and we found our room more than adequate. Lots of nice furnishings and a window onto a courtyard with lots of natural light. Bit surprised at some of the negative reviews as our room looked to be recently renovated. The bathroom was a little chilly but it was winter so nothing to complain about. There is a public parking lot close by, which is handy for those driving - 10 euro.We found the staff mixed, the first women we saw in the morning wasn't terribly helpful, however in the afternoon another women came on. She gave us diner tips - necessary on the Sunday when most places were closed. We dined at the Bistro and had a lovely meal.We opted to not have the breakfast as 17 euro for a coffee, croissant and yoghurt was a bit too much for us.

Nice but expensive for what it is. Free consistent wifi :)
Very beautiful courtyard and elevator is handy for those with heavy suitcases. The wifi is also free and consitent unlike other hotels in Dijon.However, due to the high price I am picking the following small faults that at this price I believe are not so acceptable. Rooms are nice but bathrooms are very oddly renovated. There is a mix of older style and contemporary mix that just doesn't work in my opinion.Hot water also takes quite a while to come and the front desk staff seem to be quite snobby because they know it is a nicer hotel.I am now staying at a much more reasonably priced hotel that is almost the same thing except with older bathrooms but adequately priced.

Our Stay
My Husband and I stayed here in late Sept 2012 location was central,we stayed in a standard room and my husband is 6'2 so it was abit small so my advise is go next size up,b'fast good and it has a beautiful garden area,go on a wine tour with Ivan as he speaks very good English and you can book through the hotel, just had a great time in Dijon we would go again,for a nice bar go to Le De clic Cafe Brasserie about 4 minutes away and adorable Vincent is the Manager.The restuarant has great food but alittle expensive for dinner.
