Great location, Fawlty Towers breakfast.
Great central location, and our (Superior) room was clean, tidy and quiet. However, the restaurant service for breakfast on both mornings of our stay was chaos - and way short if what you'd expect for ¿¿20 per plate. Queue to get a table, 35 mins between sitting down and cooked breakfast arriving, tables around us getting the wrong order, and/or forgotten. Mayhem.

Great stay for a group
I've just been with a group of 30 for a 3-night stay while we visited Bath. It's in Queen Square, a perfect location in the centre of town. I loved the way it had been decorated internally, a 21st century 'take' on a Georgian interior - because it does, after all, occupy a row of 18th century houses, and as you walk from house to house internally the decor changes subtly and the blue plaques tell you who lived there in the past. Neat thinking. Beds very comfortable, bathrooms immaculate. All 30 of us loved it and, despite the city centre location, it was blissfully quiet. Top marks.

very comfortable!
Very good location, just next to the markets, close to the roman baths and park. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was a la carte and yummy. ordered burger and baked salmon which was absolutely delicious! Room is just the right size and bed is very comfortable. wi-fi is free. Overall we enjoyed our stay here very much. Thank you!

Perfect location for walking & viewing all the tourist spots !
Was recommended to this hotel from our previous stay in London Perfect for walking & seeing all the tourist spots Bed was very comfy The room was beautifully decorated in an up to date period theme !!! Had a pleasant stay Breakfast was exceptional !! Staff at front desk especially the girl from Cornwall very Helpful !!! Would highly recommend a stay at the Francis Hotel

Historic!
Stayed one night here and noted some big changes since my last visit. Was able to get a space in the hotel car park although there are other options close by. Had a front facing room on the 2nd floor with views over the square. Quite small (but kiv this is a listed building) and no bath. Mitigants were very comfy bed and a decent walk in shower. Staff were very friendly and service included turning the bed down!Breakfast next morning excellent. Great buffet of cereal and fresh fruit followed by made to order cooked. Eggs Benedict with salmon recommended. Located in the heart of Bath within walking distance from well, everywhere -I'd definitely stay here again!!
