It was an interesting stay. Suprisingly quiet location, giving its location near one of the main roads into Dover and next to a petrol station. Drinks and breakfast wildly overpriced, but very nice staff and ambiance. The telly in the next room was very loud, but I guess this is a hazard these days in all hotels. I wish they had obligatory volume controls, like lorrys speed limiters!A tip for travellers - A short walk to Tescos gets you a great breakfast for a fraction of the price. All you have to do is get over two busy roads!On the plus side it was very comfortable, with no problems with the room. We might stay again, as long as the price was right.

excellent position
Stayed in this hotel for one night before going on ferry to france. Excellent hotel, very clean room excellent breakfast.Also was able to park car securely for week that we was away. The staff went out of there way to help in any possible way, including carring cases for elderly guests.

Ramada Dover
Recently had a family reunion at the Hotel Ramada in Dover. The staff were lovely friendly people, nothing was too much to ask. The catering was 1st class.The rooms were clean and airy.a very good place to meet, and they do lovely weddings and parties. recommended to all for any event.

Good business hotel
This is a nice quality hotel with clean and spacious rooms. The staff was very courteous and they had an excellent breakfast buffet. The location is several miles north of Dover city center but with good road access to the city and points north. We had a problem with our reservation that was handled very professionally by Mira.

The hotel is clean, the staff are very helpful & friendly nothing was too much trouble!!The restaurant does a 3 course menu, buffet style, when we were there weekend of the 18th May 2013, the cost of the buffet meal was ¿¿17.95 eat as much as you want.Room was adequate & bathroom was clean & all the complimentary shower gel etc.Our room had no noise whatsoever, considering the main road was nearby, a wedding reception was in full flow & also a birthday party. There is adequate car parking. The only downside was that the Costa coffee was quite expensive,
