Broke down in CA
This Days Inn was in a area that was run down, the motel its self looked a little run down but the landscaping was very nice. It looked as if the management was taking pride in what they had to work with. The carpet in the room was stained and not very clean looking, The furnishings were outdated and felt sticky as if the wrong kind of stain was applied. The convenience of having a microwave and fridge were a nice surprise, but there was not a way to adjust the fridge temp so it froze every thing. I had to throw out most of what I bought.

Decent Stay
I checked into the Days Innt after checking out of the Rodeway up the street. I have stayed at this Days Inn before and I like it, there is a decent continental breakfast, and the beds are always clean. Small refrigerator is a small square, but worked well... The only bummer was the pool was out of service. We were I told that weeks before a powerline had fallen into the pool. We were then told that an inspector had to come out to do some kind of next inspection before they would allow anyone to touch the water. The next morning I saw a man cleaning both the pool and the hot tub before we went to Magic Mountain, but when we came back from Magic Mountain the lock was still on the gate. So if you have children that were expecting to use a pool, or you were expecting to use the pool, I would definitely call to make sure that it was operational..

run away
When I booked this hotel the pictures looked like this place was decent. My husband and I arrived after driving over 8 hours, and noticed the sign on the pool saying it was closed (I was looking forward to a nice dip after such a long drive)... There seems to be a lot of reviews that say it was closed when they went and think they should put it on the site that it's permanently closed if there never going to open it. While checking in I was very pleased with the staff. He was nice and had great manners. When we walked into our room we had to kill 2 mosquitoes with my sweatshirt right off the bat, the room smelled like smoke (non-smoking room), there was 2 lamps that looked like a man had a "happy ending" all over, the bathroom smelled like a man crapped just before we got there, and there was cobweb's in the corner by the curtain. When I sat on the bed I thought I was sitting on a box spring not a mattress, and when I pulled the sheets back to try and rest there was a long black hair! I booked this room for 2 days, 2 night and was only there for 1 hour!!! I did use the WiFi to facetime my kids (which was a plus to have) before I left like a bandit in the night but there was just too many things that I couldn't be forgiving about! Oh and go figure our hotel was a non-refundable, non-changeable hotel! I wonder why.... must be because they want to trap you in this horror hotel! The price was WAY too much for this place and you'll will be scammed to if you book here!

Never again will I stay at a Days Inn after this one
The walls were yellow in a non smoking room with holes in the sheets from burns. Furniture had water damage and just looked horrible. Place was noisy, every time the upstairs people flushed the toilet or took a shower it sounded like the water was just raining down the walls. We couldn't stay another night so we just cut our losses paid the day fee and went to another hotel. Lesson learned never again will I stay at a Days Inn.

Way too little for way too much
The only reason the room was priced high was because it's ten minutes from Magic Mountain. Other than that, it was a very poor quality room. We were kept awake half the night from people who seemed like long-term residents standing and having loud conversations right outside our door, and we could hear every time someone flushed the toilet or turned the shower on in the room above us. The mattress was the hardest I've ever slept on and there was a burned hole in it. The towels were stained and rough, and the shower had no hot water to speak of. The "continental breakfast" was mainly donuts. The floor of the bathroom felt oily and the carpet felt dirty. The walls had dents in them and one of the lampshades was broken, and the main light had no way to turn it on. I would not reccomend anyone to stay here unless it's your last resort.
