Even with advance notice and travel insurance this hotel would not reimburse our charge for the room. Why would they be allowed to rebook this room and get double the revenue for the night.We will never reserve a room with hotel chain again

The location of this hotel was the main reason for booking, and the discounted price found through Expedia justified the compromise in quality. Expectations going in were mixed after reading reviews but in the end it served its purpose.Stayed 2 nights as my plans overlapped 3 days in the surrounding area and the location made sense. Check-in/out was a breeze, and I will give credit where credit is due, the employees are extremely friendly, helpful, polite and overall set a good first impression since the exterior does not. Room was at the end of the hall as requested to reduce noise, also a fridge in room as requested so that was nice. Ground floor room with a view of the rear parking lot, slightly put-off when I noticed my window was unlocked and would have been easy access from outside. Rooms are tired and aged, old carpets, old fixtures, recently updated vanity in the bathroom, but otherwise older bathroom. Large room with odd layout, just felt like a weird use of space, not very inviting. The saving grace was the extremely comfortable bed, and the TV was new(ish) and easy to use.The first night (Friday) I wasn't able to fall asleep until close to 2am as the building attached (Persian Palace) appears to be a sort of event center and the booming music travels everywhere. Big negative and had it gone on past 2am I wouldn't have stayed the 2nd night. The sleep quality in the bed however partially redeemed that issue. Not as much noise the next night which was a plus, asleep at a respectable time. Minimal noise transfer from the halls, just the odd voice or door slamming, the main issue was the loud music.Didn't partake in the complimentary continental breakfast, unable to comment on that, but it was there as advertised.Ample parking and no issues there.Overall I wasn't too thrilled and would not stay here again, nor recommend to family/friends. The rate and location where why I booked so from a value standpoint I was neither disappointed or thrilled. Apparently they are undergoing upgrades which is promising to see. As I said, the staff couldn't have been nicer, and the beds were new and very comfortable, this they do have going for them.

The manager and staff were extremely friendly and helpful to us at all times. The room was comfortable and clean, and the mini-fridge and microwave very useful. The breakfast was well organized and included all that was needed.

This was the perfect location and minutes away from two locations of the Tournamentbeing held. The Hotel was clean comfortable and the complementary breakfast was great value for the cost of the stay.

Stayed here previously in 2011 & the place was ok back then so decided to book a 3 night stay again off Expedia for a Fri/Sat/Sun. I believe the hotel has gone through some upgrades since then & we enjoyed our stay completely. Our room in 2011 didn't have a fridge/stove but now all rooms do; that really helped as we had 3 kids with us (7 yrs, 4 yrs, 7 mos). Additionally, the special request for a crib I made through Expedia got cut off when forwarded to Travelodge but they still gathered that I wanted a crib as they saw that I had a 7 month old with me so our room had a crib waiting for us. Wicked. The breakfast is decent as well. You have a selection of make your own waffles, boiled eggs, bananas, oranges, white bread/bagels (toasted available), 2 cereals, apple/orange juice, etc. Overall we were very pleased with our stay & would use this again.
