Decent Hotel in North London
I stayed in this hotel a week after London Marathon. I found no hotel in central London and I decided to stay in this N London Hotel. It took me almost 2 hours from Heathrow to this hotel. It such a long journey and I thought I made a mistake. After I checkin and staffs are helpful and they said the hotel was fully booked for the entire week. London transport is expensive and we bought an Oyster card and prepare a long walk to the tube station. We asked the concierge about the tube station and found out there is a minibus shuttle to/from the tube station every 15 mins. Wow, it made us very happy although it still took 35 mins journey to the central London. If I couldn't find hotel in central Lon next time, I will be happy to stay again in this hotel.

generally very good, a few minor niggles
I have as a business user stayed at loads of IHG hotels and this one once before. My stay was for 5 nights as a Gold Card member. This was recognised with a move to a better room which was nice, shame the complimentary newspapers never materialised. 5 nights is a long stay on business so you really get to know a hotel.The pick-up from the tube station is an excellent service and the drivers were always polite and friendly. We as a group ate here every night of our stay. The food quality is good and compared to other hotels I have stayed in is reasonably priced. My only comment here was it took too long to actually get our food. However the staff were very friendly and well organised. Breakfast was a highlight, slick and no messing about, as a business user you need to get out asap sometimes.I did the walk across to the shopping centre just to get cash, the prospect of being charged ¿¿1.75 to use the one in the hotel goes against my principles. Equally I know this is a hotel group policy but when are IHG going to wake up and realise guests expect free WIFI in this day and age, it s a std/free service in many other hotes!, even if it was only for Priority Club members...please feed this back. Even premier In give you 30 mins free which is ideal to check emailsGood lifts, I mention this as another IHG hotel I stayed in in London recently did not have enough lifts for the number of guests, chaos reigned.Apart from the hotel there isn't much else around here.

Very nice value and friendly folks.
Excellent place. Nice friendly people (mr. Wjotek). Food was good, a little pricey but that's the price of convenience and breakfast was a good value. Parking was convienient. shopping center is close. Will stay again. Thx. (T. Singh)

Fantastic stay, definitely recommend.
I stayed at this holiday inn in April 2013, travelling with 3 other adults and two children. This was a leisure break as we had booked tickets to take the children to see Matilda the Musical. I cannot recommend this Holiday Inn highly enough. The receptionist on arrival was so friendly and welcoming. We had booked two family rooms and, without requesting, they had put us on the same floor. The rooms were lovely, very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable, I had a great nights sleep, even with a wriggly 7 year old next to me (even with two double beds in the room, his sister refused to share a bed with him!) Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel and was great value for me as kids eat free. (The pancake machine is inspired!) The breakfast staff also deserve a mention as they are so polite and helpful. they really couldn't do enough for their guests. This hotel also offers a great shuttle service to and from the tube station. Central London is easialy accessible from here as Brent Cross is on the northern line (about a 25 minute train ride to St.Pancreas). All in all we had a brilliant stay here. I would defiantly go back and certainly recommend to others. The friendliness of the staff and the wonderful breakfast put it above others hotels.

Excellent!!
I checked in on Saturday 27th April 2013 with 4 others and just stayed for a 1 night stopover whilst going to a music concert in london, on booking this hotel i thought that it was going to be a long tube ride into central london but this was not the case. The hotel staff just could not do enough for you especially the man on reception (kicking myself as i didnt get his name) he was just so friendly and brilliant at his job. we stayed in room 911 and 915 and these rooms were very spacious and kept to a very high standard. the guys at the bar were very efficient and always served us with a smile. we had lounge food and cannot fault that either! Overall a very friendly hotel that we will definately be visiting again soon i will make it my number 1 spot hotel, for when visiting london. an added bonus was the complimentary shuttle service and the driver even gives you his mobile number to pick you up from the tube station when you have finished with the city for the day, this is also complimentary.Thank-you Holiday inn London Brent Cross!
