Comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Save your money
From the moment we arrived we wanted to leave. As we approached the reception desk, no acknowledgement from the receptionist who had full blown flu !!!!!! We were booked in for 2 nights but instantly cancelled our second night. Due to road works the parking garage was a nightmare to find (directions from front desk were not clear). The rooms look tired and the bathrooms need to get with the times (this is supposed to be a FOUR star establishment). We had 2 rooms booked. Our room had a mini bar stock only with soft drinks and not switched on, and the mini bar in the second room was nowhere to be found.... The establishment is very noisy both in hallways and exterior. The decor is archaic. The final straw was the sheets in the second room had fresh blood stains on them. Over all one of the worst hotel experiences ever!!!!!

Comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Clean and tidy with a nice room. Bathroom was also nice. Breakfast was expensive so went just across the road to a cafe and enjoyed a much cheaper baguette instead. Very close to the metro so access to other areas of the city was easy. Enjoyed our 2 days in Brussels.

A dated but efficient hotel.
I spent 3 weeks in a room and later in a studio. The room was smallish and with dated furniture, a single electric socket and forgettable carpets. The studio was large, with a working kitchen, very dated furniture; cleaned only once a week. Internet wireless is free in the lobby but very pricey (12 euro a day!!) in the bedroom. Very good breakfast. Excellent location for my engagements in town. Very efficient and helpful reception staff. Reasonably priced. If you are not fussy and want to be cost-effective (but for internet), this is fine.

Smelly and poorly maintained place
The Cascade Louise has a rather dated feel. While the lobby is ok, the rooms reflect the rather shabby neighborhood. My room was not very clean, smelled of old smoke (like the corridors), and was nothing resembling a 4* place. Bathroom was barebones (just some shampoo and hand soap), and instead of a duvet the bed only had some old blanket with a sheet on. Internet costs 12 Euro for 24 hours, and all I had was a superslow 0.2 Mbps download and upload speed. Breakfast was also quite uninspired. Overall it¿¿¿s a more of a 2.5* quality, and too expensive for what it offers. There are far better options in this part of the city.I had a room on the 4th floor and facing the back, so at least noise wasn't a problem.

Comfortable
Stayed here for one night. Staff were excellent throughout, clean and tidy hotel and one of the most comfortable beds ive came across. My only gripe was the price for breakfast the next day. Apart from that if anyone is visiting Brussels in the future then i would recommend this hotel and also the transport ie trams and metro are a 2 min walk away.
