lovely few days
My husband and I went on a Wednesday evening for two days, The room was the nicest we have ever had. It is a bit away from the town ,but the walk was lovely .The people in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were lovely and all tastes were catered for.We had a beautiful meal in the hotel .We were going to go into town but we were enjoying our meal too much so stayed put. The room was very clean and the four poster bed was very comfy. Two sofas and a few very comfortable armchairs very nice!!!

Staff make all the difference
We have just spent 3 days staying with another couple. The hotel staff really did earn this hotel its 5 stars. You have a big choice in Kilarney with some 52 hotels to choose from, so why single out this one? to start with a great welcome from Teddy, who immediately made us feel like we were the most important people he had ever met (wer'e not Teddy!) Brilliant young managers like Joanna and Andras? - really sorry if I have spelt it incorrectly. These two have a rare talent of mixing undiluted professionalism with pleasant approachability and huge pride in their team and job. Ernesta, our watress made our first evening meal experience one to remember. My wife still raves about how brilliant all the team in the Spa were -sorry i skipped that option!in the bar, Gannison's enthusiasm and happy demenour drew us back 3 evenings in a row. By the first evening he had remembered how everyone took their drink. it is this detail that guests love. the reception team were on their game and at all times greated us and asked if we were having a good holiday.And we did..thank you.

Nice to find character in outside Killarney
When I arrived, I was really pleased to be staying here as it is nicely removed from the hundreds of hotels and B&Bs in and around Killarney! Its right across the road from the National Park so you can walk in for sunset after dinner:) the rooms are lovely and service good. We missed the music in Molly Darcy's but heard its the place to go for good music,.

Not a five star Hotel
Stayed for two nights and was disappointed with the facilities at the hotel.Pool and leisure facilities were only average and was amazed that there was an additional charge to use the facilities,Hotel is on the side of the main road with no grounds or gardens.We ate in Molly D'Arcys pub and the food was good and reasonable price.Breakfast was only okay and not five star standard and service left a lot to be desired.Wouldn't go back as it is overpriced for what you get,

Wonderful weekend
Just come back from a fabulous weekend at this hotel. The thing that makes this place is staff. They were so attentive and polite without being in our face.We loved the room which was bright and comfortable, the hotel is beautifully decorated, and the spa is just wonderful.We had dinner in the restaurant and bar and both meals were delicious. Once again the staff were helpful and courteous, and nothing seemed too much for them.I will definitely be back.
