Lovely Hotel
This hotel is about a 15 minute walk to centre of Galway, if that's an issue perhaps you should consider somewhere closer (or take a taxi) Having said that, it wasn't for us. We requested a quiet room and got a lovely big double room which was very quiet away from street noise. Better than expected standard of room. Large, clean and very functional.Breakfast was a fairly varied selection most of which was good quality.Got it at a fairly good rate, so in summaryA better than expected hotel, with a good breakfast and lovely room .Would definitely stay again.

Lovely
We had a lovely stay in the pillo hotel,our bedroom was twin single but really we had 2 double beds in the room which was great,food was lovely,hotel very modern and staff could not be any more helpful or friendly..only fault is the location very noisy road could not open window (as room quiet warm)because of noise of traffic all night plus no wifi had to use lead lucky i brought laptop.free parking also was good

Lovely weekend stay
We were very pleased with this hotel and the facilities. Nice spacious room when you order the deluxe room very helpful staff and friendly. The breakfast is pretty good to. This was definitely a great value for money stay certainly more than we expected. Highly recommended would return again.

Have just enjoyed a 4 day stay at this excellent hotel - the accommodation, staff, cleanliness and the food were all of a very high standard. Free safe parking was also a great added bonus. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

not bad
Location is slightly out of the city centre, a bit too far to walk. You would need to drive however there is a bus stop very close by. The hotel itself is modern, the room was clean and spacious however no wifi in the room. Breakfast was ok.The service at the front desk was excellent. Our initial room had a smell of cigarette smoke but we mentioned it to reception and they found another room no fuss and gave us free coffees whilst we waited for it to be sorted out. Also left my iphone charger behind and they sent it to my home in Sweden without a hassle. I would stay there again.
