This place had a great location just off the main walking street - good comfortable beds - average breakfast but mostly great value for money! The Service was good and friendly. The only odd thing was that they always asked you to leave the key at the front desk, they never just suggested it they told you it was better which I find odd I would always feel more secure with my key in my bag!

Stayed here last June for a concert, very cheap, nice room,clean, bed was comfortable. If you're looking for luxury I wouldnt recommend but If you're going to a concert or just visiting Dublin for a night or 3 it's very ideal! The bar is nice although there was no residents bar when we arrived back at about 2.30am , not a big deal. We only had to give a room number to get the key of our room when we returned, our name was not asked which is a security issue that should probably be looked in to. Looks like Anybody can get a key if they give a valid room number. All in all it's Value for money , I really can't complain!

After spending half an hour standing at the front desk waiting to check in. We were eventually given our room key. We had to go out the back of the hotel down an alley, passing a conservatory which was a storage cupboard, into a different building where our room was located.This section was filthy, the skirting boards were hanging off, paint peeling off the walls, it didnt have a pleasent atmosphere. Entering our room it stank of cigarettes despite booking a non-smoking room. We immediately went back to reception. The receptionist did not seem pleased. He offered us another room. This was in the same building as before but on the top floor. It was much better, no smoke smell and we had a phone call from reception to see if the room was ok. However, having the window open we often had a waft of cigarette smell. The room was basic and filthy, but the bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was tiny and stank of mould. The toilet handle was covered in limescale and the shower looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months. The shower was louder than a aeroplane taking off and spat water out at different temperatures. Our bedsheets were covered in bits. The security of the hotel was good, having to be buzzed in when coming home in the evening. However, the safety of our things was a concern, the hotel didnt ask for our names just room number and gave us the key straight away. We never saw the same receptionist. The location of this hotel was good. Easy to get to the river, airport bus and very easy walking distance to Temple Bar and O'connell street. We will definitely be visiting Dublin again but unfortunately will not be visiting this hotel again.

The room was on the top floor with no lift. Had to drag luggage up several flights of stairs by ourselves. Small, very old fashion quaint room just good enough for sleeping. The pictures online did not match our room but it served its purpose. The tv was old, remote did not work. The location was really good. Walking distance to the Temple Bar was perfect and less noise at night than South of the river. The staff were very friendly. Getting to and from the airport and ferry was very easy and no problems. We just needed a place to leave luggage and sleep so it was acceptable for what we needed it for.

Was quite easy to find it, though the street I took to walk to it was very dirty. It looked niceand clean from outside and even better in the night. The reception was polite and wellcoming. Breakfast was added for 5 EUR extra and was worth it. Room was clean and nice, bedsheets white and crispy. Reception was also helpful with bus times for me to go to airport as it had to be middle of the night. Overall very good experience. Worth every cent.
