Brilliant hotel
Recently stayed here on business and I have to say it was just perfect. The room was lovely and fresh and clean. The food was brilliant in the bar and the breakfast was great also. THe staff are very friendly Very pleasant experience and would highly recommend.

Very good value
We stayed here for one night as we were attending a wedding in nearby Vienna Woods. The hotel is easy to get to without going through Cork city and it a short 10 minute spin (less 10e in a taxi) from Vienna Woods.There was a wedding rate on the hotel which reciprocates wedding rates with Vienna Woods. However we sourced a cheaper rate albeit without breakfast from a hotel booking website (linked from Trip Advisor).The hotel has parking on site and is clean and modern.

Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Absolutely awful. The noise and behaviour of the guests on the same floor, and throughout the whole hotel was despicable. Noise went on until all hours of the morning. Would never stay here again. I requested a quiet room a week in advance, must have gotten the noisiest room in the hotel. Won't be staying again.

Not pleased.Ordered kids meal,charged as adult price.
We had lunch for my son's confirmation today.When I made a phone reservation,the staff already knew that I have 2 kids with me so understably n obviously meals for my kids should be kinda half portion,i even confirmed it w/ the waiter.To make the story short,my kids were billed the adult price,which is twice expensive as the kids meals.Not to mention all their food tastes the same.I dont recommend the Watermarq restaurant.

Better than most...
I have stayed her a few times over the past months. The hotel has generally delivered each time and to be honest I am reasonably impressed.The building is obviously from the terrible times of architecture when concrete was king and it shows in a lot of places. The rooms a small enough but brightly decorated. You can see the historic wall finishes behind the radiators where things are peeling a bit as well as in the bathrooms with brown porcelain suites and shower heads positioned at a height for the Under-10 girls football team. The broadband works quite well and the TV's do have a decent signal.The view can be nice from the rooms facing the Lee and the service in the bar area for food and drinks has been very good with competent and friendly staff. The breakfast is nice during the week with table service for hot breakfast but the buffet on weekend mornings is more in keeping with the 'Paddy Factor' Irish hotel breakfast that resemble a scrum.Not bad...not bad at all
