Avoid Claridge Tower
Can't expect much for a discounted room but still a little cleanliness was all that we were asking. The Claridge Tower is a walk away from the main lobby, severely outdated, awful beds (we checked - no bed bugs at least), and in need of some TLC. The front desk thought they did us a favor by giving us a jacuzzi room which only leaked all over the floor when operated. Walls were pretty thin - don't expect to sleep much in any AC hotel.We've stayed at the Main Tower which is a step up - cleaner, a little bit bigger in terms of room size, and a bit more modern. Dennis Tower was the nicest of the lot. If you are staying here don't expect to spend too much time in your room - it's not worth it. The location is great though - right in the middle of the Boardwalk and near Outlet Shops. Also connected to Caesars.

Ruby Room not quite a gem
Spent 2 nights in the new renovated Bally Ruby Rooms. Room was fairly new and sort of clean,It had the feel of a 3 star Motel. Furnishings cheap, no pictures on walls. Bathroom small on only had new sink. I had asked housekeeping to clean air conditioning vent-but never happened.Overall not terrible but not luxury. Price was average. The Hotel lobbies and casino were up to typical Atlantic City standards.

What a dump
We booked this hotel with friends. We were supposed to be in the main tower. We got the Dennis tower. We were told we had to go through a secret door to get to our room. We couldn't find it and had to ask for directions from an employee as there weren't any signs indicating where the rooms were. We went down the hallway which looked it hadn't been updated since they built the hotel. When we entered the room it was just as bad. The only thing that was recently updated was the bathroom. However when we came back later at night and took a shower we saw the black mold on the shower curtain. Never again!!!

AVOID
45 minute queue at check in, room dingy. Staff unhelpful. Charge extra to use the swimming pool. Paid to see the Legends Show, okay, but waited half an hour before the show started for a drink, and still no bartender, so sat through 90 minute show without drinks. Very disappointing stay, would return to Atlantic City but would stay elsewhere.

Not bad.... Not great
Stayed at a Dennis Tower room. Odd configuration but the bed was comfortable. One of my least favorite hotels to stay at. Rooms are dated and hotel layout is confusing. Nothing bad but don't pay too much to stay here.
