Good value and perfect location for museum quarter
Booking ate, it was hard to find a good room at a decent price. The week-end extender rate allowing a Sunday check out at 5 pm gave us a whole extra day -- a great deal. I liked: the large room overlooking the canal (worth the 15 euro extra), the extensive breakfast buffet with good coffee, the underused gym and the location in a typical neighborhood away from the mob of tourists in the center. I would suggest: new carpets, new televisions and better internet service.

Excellent location - but low standards
This hotel is situated very close to the main museums of Amsterdam. My room was small and cramped with an aircondition system that has seen better days. The TV is from the 90's. Internet is free but very slow. Breakfast is OK but with 1 coffee machine for 50-60 guests coming in, it takes a while to wake up. Service is in general OK. The maid though walk straight into my room without asking if its OK (I was on the phone). The elevator sounded like it had skipped maintenance the last few years. The fitness center is OK, but only has 1 treadmill and no free weights. All in all it reminds me of a Scandic hotel which is not necessarily a compliment.

very comfortable stay
This hotel is located in the museum quarter on the canal. Very quiet residential area near museums and walking distance to center and all the attractions. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Our room was on the fourth floor facing the inner courtyard and it was just very peaceful.There is a tram stop a block away with service to Dam square and central station but most of the time we skipped that for a walk through the streets of Amsterdam.You can have breakfast in the hotel but my suggestion is skip that and try one of the nearby cafe's for a more authentic experience. our favorite place was Bakers and Roasters located within 5 minute walk from the hotel.Overall a very comfortable hotel which I would recommend and also stay in again.

Great hotel with wonderful location
Quiet location which is not as noisy as in the Centraal - About 3 mins walking to Albert Cuyp Market and the tram. No worries about food as there are plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel receptions were also very helpful and they're also very friendly when we asked for directions and places of interests nearby. Would definitely come back to this hotel again on our next visit to Amsterdam:)

Affordable,Great Location,Good Service
Located in the areas which is not as noisy as in the City Centre, but it's pretty close to the shops, just 10-15 minutes walks and you can find the shops and markets. Also very near with a Tram Stop. The hotel receptions were also friendly, we asked them a favor if we could leave our luggage in the hotel for 2 days, as we have to travel to other countries nearby, and they were happily store the luggage for us. And we pick the luggage on the way back, and they're kept safely in the luggage room. They're also very friendly when we asked for directions and places of interests nearby. Would definitely come back to this hotel again on my next visit to Amsterdam =)
