really good value hotel
We spent three night in this lovely hotel.Its situation was good for bars and restaurants,and only minutes from Nice and the airport. Security was great in the hotel and grounds. The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful. What more could you ask ?

Excellent Hotel, Poor Restaurant
We really liked this hotel, our room was clean and comfortable and had a decent sized safe. Security was good with access to the lift requiring our room key. Only the airconditioning could have been better.This was our second visit, the first was several years ago and we had no hesitation in booking it again. The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance of the sea front and the station as well as lots of restaurants and shops. One restaurant, the Barracuda, was outstanding if a little expensive.Reception and other staff were always pleasant and helpful and a free PC was useful for on-line check-in for our flights home.Sadly the restaurant was not up to the same standard. We had intended having breakfast there as well as dinner on a couple of evenings but after the first breakfast decided to eat all our meals elsewhere. The bacon, sausage and potato was cold, the pancakes were also cold and we avoided the sloppy yellow liquid that we assume was meant to be scrambled egg. Two disinterested waiters stood around only becoming animated when taking our room number for the bill.However the H¿¿agen-Dazs cafe nearby provided a reasonable breakfast while we sat in the sun each morning.We will stay at this hotel on our next visit, but we will eat elsewhere.

A Good All Rounder
Four star hotels can be a bit dodgy . They spend a bit of money on the lobby and flatter to deceive . This is a genuine four star hotel and I enjoyed my two night stay . It's in a comfortable area but only stones throw away from the action . Much better than those 19th century grand hotels that are just past it .At the moment Nice is a building site - but that's not the hotels fault .

Uneventful Stay, the good and the bad
I stayed at this holiday inn holiday for 4 nights. The hotel is located in very good spot between the beach and Gare De Nice, only 10 minutes walk from Nice old town and 5 minutes walk from Airport Bus 98 Stop. The main shopping street is only 5 minutes away from hotel, heaps of shops there. I did not try the restaurant at hotel as there are heaps restaurants and cafes around, particular behind the hotel there are heaps of Asian, Mid-Eastern and Italian restaurants. Compare with some other holiday inn hotel in emerging markets, this is a very basic holiday inn hotel. Room is good size and bigger than the holiday inn I stayed in Paris. Bedroom is good and the most important point is you can open the window and get some fresh air. Service is good particular front desk staff. Victor checked us in and also provide outstanding service during our stay. Other staff are pretty friendly and helpful as well. The main issue of this hotel is lift. Many visitors have already mentioned before the lift is not working or not working well. I only used once during our 4 days stay at this hotel, rest of time we have to take service lift. Well we went out most of days, it was not a big deal for our stay. Hotel provides fee wifi service and it was pretty fast as well. Hotel also has a mini gym on top floor, it has a great view and I dont think many people knew about it. Airline staff stayed at this hotel as well particular British Airways. So if you are BA fun this is the place for you to stay. It was an uneventful stay and considering the price I paid, I will definitely come back again if the price is right.

Easter in Nice
The location of the hotel is very good. The hotel itself could have been much better. As noted by other reviewers, the elevators were out of order and we had to use the service elevator. This was VERY inconvenient: there were long waiting times and the elevator itself was rather dirty. The hotel did not put any effort to make it nicer as it was used by the guests. The room was nice but we could not close the door of the bathroom!!! The door was too large!
