Excellent stay for the 2 time stay since last year stay!!!
This is my 2 time at the Best Western Bowery Hanbee Hotel. My review is the same as last year stay. Excellent stay. Excellent hotel. Its an excellent hotel & service for cheaper price. The room is good and not that small for NY stays. The bathroom is good and big. The show has a great hot water. The breakfast has a variety of cold and hot food. All the mornings the room was cleaned. It is like the Holiday Inn Express attributes at a cheaper price for being at New York City. Is close too the subway stations. I definitely go again, stay & recommend.

Staff very polite and helpful, property needs a lick of paint and updating, feels tired,Breakfast space limited, and choice poorFree Internet is good, but rooms small and also tired looking, Location is convenient for Soho and is in Chinatown, so convenient Summary Some investment by Western needed to match Staff's commitment to service

Great price and location in NYC
Stayed here for 12 nights and the location was perfect! It is right in the middle of Chinatown, and right next to Little Italy so you are spoilt for choice with dining options. The rooms are basic but very clean and the bathroom was new with in floor heating. The air conditioning was great too and there was an ice machine down the hall. It is also located right near some key subway stations, so it was super easy to access all parts of Manhattan and Brooklyn if you didn't feel like walking. Breakfast was very basic and did get a little boring after a while, but it was great just to have the option. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to New York

Walking distance to almost everywhere!
This is the best kept little secret in Manhattan....a moderately priced (winter discount rate) conveniently located, clean, and updated hotel. It is located in the heart of Chinatown and a few blocks from Little Italy. Subway station is a block away. Breakfast is included and there is a good variety of both hot and cold food items to choose from. Plenty of eateries nearby. Staff is courteous and very helpful. Good size room although closet space is very tight. Given that this is Manhattan.....no space is wasted. Bathroom has new fixtures and good size (meaning that it is beyond standing room only). Definitely will make repeat visits.

Great location
The first thing to note is the great location. In the middle of Chinatown and Little Italy and very close to the Lower East Side, Soho and Greenwich Village you can explore quite a lot on foot.The rooms are not spectacular in size but the bathroom was nice in size and the shower was very big. Also I did not have any problems sleeping at night since the room was surprisingly quiet.The only downside is that the breakfast is horrible but given the large choice of places to have breakfast you do not have to starve.
