THIS PLACE IS TRASH!!
We are from buffalo (the amherst area specifically) we recently moved several hours away and came back into town to visit. This place we drove by often and we were able to get it for $100, which seemed decent for a nights stay. Assuming it was in a popular area we thought it would be a decent place to stay. IT WAS DISGUSTING!!! First of all, walking to our room we had to go upstairs outside, the glass door we walked through was brokered glassed- very safe. The ice machine was filthy, it looked like it was never cleaned with dead bugs stuck all over it. Entering our room it appeared like a motel, a bit out dated, but just what we needed for a one nights stay. Only to quickly realize that we've been deceived. The place smelled like cigarettes. the light switches were covered in filth, the lamp next to the bed had white stuff hardened to the switch. People in the rooms around us were loud, yelling and blaring music. There was long dark hair ALL OVER the bathroom, from the sink to the floor it appeared as if it was never cleaned. And of course this includes the toilet. So here we are, unable to take our shoes off because the rug appeared disgusting and not vacuumed and unable (uncomfortable) to shower in this room. We figured we'd just resort to sleep and get up as early as we could and head back home. Only after pulling the blankets back to find short and long dark hair all over the sheets And pillow. At this point we figured we would just sleep in our clothes on the top sheet. As we pulled up the top blanket to our surprise Just inches from my husbands face was a comforter covered in a White substance smeared all over it. Apparently they don't wash their blankets either. After throwing in the towel and enduring a half hour of hell we went back down to the front desk to get another room/request a refund. The overnight staff were nice but unfortunately they seemed routined with complaints. They stated all rooms would be similar (we believed them!) and that they Do Not refund rooms. They told us that complaints do arise but the place was not part of an actual days inn chain. It was privately purchased by a few men and their wives cleaned it. Making it even more disgusting to realize the conditions the management allowed their business to remain. We weren't looking for high class and modern, just a Clean place to feel comfortable enough to sleep. This place was filth! They suggested that we leave a list of complaints to the owners about the conditions, hoping for some kind of hospitality response. So as numerous people probably did before us, we left a list, and our contact information in hopes of a response and a possible refund, never to be contacted or for our calls (for even a partial refund) to be returned. Apparently management didn't care. After wasting a hundred dollars and being too exhausted at this point to drive home, we decided to settle and go up the road to holiday inn express. Walking into this place we felt an immediate sense of peace! We felt Welcomed, clean, relaxed and comfortable! Unfortunately, this place had heard of complaints before and after hearing us vent they promised and gave an outstanding stay compared to Days Inn. and for only $20 dollars more! The room was clean, you could even tell the sheets were changed because the pillows had freshly placed 'Cleaned Soft/Hard pillow' buttons on them, a nice simple look just hinting to the customer extra steps were taken to show their pillows and sheets were cleaned. The shower was great, it was clean! no hair, clean floor and a clean toilet. Simple things you would think a hotel would provide, CLEANLINESS. After this stay we learned one huge lesson (that a month later we are still bothered by), we will never stay at that Days Inn again, and we have and in the future plan to read reviews of every place we will stay. Listen to these reviews people this place is FILTH! What a waste of money, lesson learned!

**WARNING* DANGER AHEAD; AVOID AT ALL COSTS
At first this 'hotel' looked like a great option for me and my two girlfriends to stay the night while shopping. It was somewhat cheaper than other actual hotels, close to malls, rooms appeared to be clean, air conditioned, and most importantly smoke free. However, on arrival there were a lot of long term guests, who were extremely creepy (one man sitting out side watched as we walked to our room and continued to stare into our window. Which is very uncomfortable especially being three girls alone.) Check in seemed okay at first, however once we got to our room it was most definitely not smoke free like Expedia had said it was. The room was dirty, there was no air conditioning, bathroom looked like it needed another clean, and it stunk of smoke which was an issue since on of my friends is allergic to smoke and we were unable to be in the room.I called the manager and he said that he would find us another room. So we moved two doors down, the room was worse than the other room. It smelt smoke and mold, the room was in dire need of a cleaning and the bed was honestly right beside the bathroom leaving no more than 60cm of walking space between. We complained about the smell and an employee came into the room and SPRAYED IT WITH SOME SORT OF FEBREZE, which only made the room smell even worse, that our friend had to sit in the car. There was no way we were going to sleep in this.We went to go speak to the manager of this MOTEL and he informed us that we needed to contact Expedia to give us a FULL REFUND because they were the third party that paid on our behalf.Needless to say, we were stuck on the phone for TWO HOURS, simply because when the representative of Expedia would call the manager to confirm this the manger of DAYS INN would tell them " No" and that "There are other rooms available". We would not take no for an answer, the manger of DAYS INN is honestly terrible, poor communication skills, rude and people should not have to deal which that on vacation.Expedia was also no help, claiming they could do nothing, which is another story! Two hours later we finally got our full refund and headed to the doors we were free! hahaI would never want someone to experience the rude behaviour we received, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL!! THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER ACTUAL HOTELS THAT ARE AMAZING! We ended up at the Holiday Inn Express, by the Buffalo Airport and OMG! It was lovely! For only 20 dollars more I couldn't believe the amazing service from this hotel! It was right by Walden Galleria, they had free shuttles to the mall! Simply Amazing, great food and staff!

Nice location and good value!
This hotel is conveniently located close to most shopping destinations in the Buffalo/Niagara region. Although for the price, I wasn't expecting a 5 star stay, I have to say that it was pretty good and they offer comfy beds, decent rooms, a nice TV and a mini fridge to keep stuff cool. The only downside is that the adjacent rooms have connecting doors that carry the sound of people on the other side and it gets a bit noisy if there's a crying baby but all in all, the hotel manager was able to move me to a quiet area and that was very kind of him. We had a great shopping weekend in Tonawanda!

Much Better than l Expected
First off, this place is really a Motel. From the outside, it looks like the place that they used from the television show "My Name is Earl".. But don't let that fool you.Secondly, this place for a motel was spotless. Very clean and neat, and the bed was very comfortable. I wonder if it was one of those air mattresses that Hotels are using now? There were some things missing like soap, but I'm sure if l called room service, they would have given it to me, and the place does not have a closet. But for $60 a night, I'm not going to complain about that very much. However, it is very conviently located across the street from a large shopping centre. Just a couple km's down the road is UB and Canicius Universitys. There are also numerous restaurants very close by. I would not recomend the free breakfeast, because... well...... unless your not pickyI would most definately stay there again if traveling through the area.
