Not a good choice
My husband and I needed an extended stay hotel with a kitchen as we get tired of eating out and I like to cook- I was not pleased with the cleanliness of the room and definitely not the kitchen- I bought my own cleaning supplies, even a vacuum, and did my own cleaning- we were promised linen change/white glove cleaning every 5 days--- I ended up washing my own linens -- I waited 3-4 days and specifically ask for our bed to be changed- it was not changed, again--- I am not a happy camper-- bottom line... Bad wifi-- bad housekeeping-- and this will most definitely be our one and only stay in this hotel- also, suppose to be a non-smoking facility?? I had to sweep cigarette butts from my door, and the room smelled too- (Hawthorn Suites)

Family Trip to Detroit
Great hotel for our large family because we could all stay in the same room. Kids enjoyed being able to play basketball on the court on premises. Good breakfast with a variety of foods and was continously being restocked as guests finished food. Only problem was a LARP (Live Action Role Play) convention at the adjacent hotel which had bass thumping music until 1 a.m.

Dirty, Backbreaking Bed and Rude Staff
I took my nephew to see the Henry Ford Museum and had to find a hotel that would have two rooms, since my nephew is 17. The complex is dingy with the steps up to our room in bad condition. The tub had a ring around it, the kitchen counter and coffee maker was sticky. The tv was streaky. The pullout bed made my back hurt and there were no blankets to be found, This is a bad hotel with rude staff in rundown part of town but you have to pay arm and a leg for the room. Go elsewhere where the rooms are clean, the blankets are plentiful and the staff is nice to the guests.
