Friendly staff good size Roma
We had not stayed here before when come to lax. It is nice, friendly, clean, rooms are a good size. We were early flight in from Australia it was great to get our room straight away a pity other hotels don't do that, if you want wifi you have to go to the foyer,some newspapers around but not many. The bus stop is across the road which is hand. Would stay here again. You can get a trolley o manhattan beach which is a block away $5 return each. You can also go to manhattan village which is the stop after the beach where there are some nice restaurants, china grill, California pizza kitchen, Olive Garden and a few others, the bus t are about 30 minutes, get the tickets from your hotel.

Top rate service above and beyond
Stayed at this hotel a few nights on the way to and from Maui. The staff was wonderful. Very friendly, helpful and went out of their way for us. We needed to get a cab back to the hotel from a restaurant & when we called one & they said it was going to be over an hour wait I called back to the hotel & Carla McCue called another company & they were there within 15 minutes. She not only got us the cab but then called us to make sure that they had come and that we returned back to the hotel safely. Every question or request we had was taken care of immediately and with a feeling of they truly cared.I will definitely stay here again without hesitation and would recommend it highly to anyone else.

Decent place for one night
We took advantage of the stay and fly deal. Stayed one night and parked for a week for a good rate. Nice but small lobby. Very clean room and cool fitness facility. Pool and spa are horrible and very dated. Spa tiles were literally falling apart into the water! Bellman was very nice and helpful with area directions and suggestions. Best part? Staff and park and stay deal. Not really up to typical Renaissance standard, but wasn't trying to be too critical b/c it was only one night.

It wasn't a "very good" stay, to be honest. It just wasn't "average" either. I stayed here with my family after a long haul flight for just one night to recuperate a little before we traveled onto NY the next morning. Service that we saw included front desk check in and out, as well as having a taxi called for us. Nothing bad but nothing special (not expected for those things, either).The hotel itself was clean, a little dated but what I have come to expect from the Renaissance name. The price was good, as expected for an airport hotel, and assuming I just wasn't so tired I didn't hear them, the plane noise was minimal (we picked this hotel in order to further ourselves from the tarmac).Overall, if I was to do the same trip again I would stay here without hesitation, however I can't comment on things like the restaurant, room service or generally any amenities other than the room itself.

Great Hotel to Recover From Asian Jetlag
Free airport shuttle 24/7 every fifteen minutes both ways, to super helpful and informative front desk staff, to super comfy room with all the amenities, this Marriott property is a winner. The person who checked us in at the Front Desk was a wealth of information. Cool, classy, upscale decor and atmosphere in the lobby. Fab elevator music. Comfy sofas right outside the front door to sit on to wait for the shuttle. If you just have one night in LA between flights, and have the energy, get a $5 roundtrip Long Beach shuttle bus ticket from the front desk for dining, entertainment, shopping, and the beach. Within walking distance we found a Sizzler where we had a surprisingly excellent meal, a Greek Restaurant, Persian Restaurant, and a pizza place. For an artery clogging meal, there's a Burger King directly across the street!!
