Boutique Feel
First time here after the re-branding. Was very impressed with the rooms and the overall changes. We had views of the Marina.This is definitely more of a boutique casino. Easy to find your way around and get oriented. Was only here for one night and had the buffet for dinner. Was a below average buffet considering the price. If you can get some kind of promotion deal then I would say go for it.If you are looking to stay and just relax and not to concerned with gaming and nightlife then this would make a perfect choice. Otherwise it may be wiser to go across the road to the Borgata where there is a bit more action.

Nothing Spectacular
Very nice facelift with some added pluses, such as, Starbucks, a Pokeroom, larger playroom for kids, Chart House, it was not impressively better than the Trump Marina. The H2O Lounge is very nice. Minuses include, female dancers on one of the tables in a Casino Bar, and clearly not professional dancers, the coffee and red velvet cupcake at Bread and Bean was not that good, buffet was mediocre, our room was open when we checked in and my brother could not get into his room at all. The new decor looks very nice, and the fridge in the room was a plus, but we will not be returning.

Great Deal
Recently stayed at the remodeled Golden Nugget in AC. They were constantly sending me emails advertising the rooms and special deals so I finally bit. I was very happy to see the rooms were in fact clean, modern and exactly as advertised. A great location in AC just got better.

Disappointed
i do not go to Atlantic City that often and I usually stay at either the Hilton (no longer owned by Hilton) or the Trump Marina- before it became the Golden Nugget.I have to say I was very disappointed. The rooms were okay but not really clean- I had to wipe up dust and dirt in the bathroom. And I felt that all the restaurants were over priced.The coffee shop or place was also over priced. I would not recommend it to anyone who is on a budget. When it was owned by Trump and the Marina it was an affordable and extremely clean hotel and I enjoyed staying there. I would never go again.

Great stay!!! Will always stay here when traveling to ac...
I just absolutely love this hotel. It is so beautiful on the inside especially since it was remodeled. May be a little smaller casino than the likes of the borgata but I think it's more homey. If you can afford to go to Vic and Anthony's steakhouse you are in for a treat. One of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Overall, IMO, its the bet hotel in atlantic city.
