Great Gem Amazing Hospitality
I booked this hotel from a deal I purchased through Jetsetter.com it was my birthday weekend so I decided to go to NYC to celebrate. The location for us was perfect very close to restaurants and nearby retailers. From the moment we arrived the staff at the front desk were very customer service orientated. We were upgraded to a room with lots of windows and it's own private terrace and I walked in to find a great little note wishing me a happy birthday with a box of cupcakes! Overall the hotel is up to my standards very clean, nicely designed and cozy a complete boutique hotel. I actually liked lounging around in my room and was sad when I had to leave I wish I could have spent more time in my room. On the 10th floor they have a great little business and lounge area with a good size rooftop lounge that overlooks the Empire State Building.If we are every in NYC again we will definitely come back to stay here I thought the location was great and service was amazing neither I nor my husband complained once about anything. As you know rooms in NYC are small I thought our room was a great size very tall ceilings so maybe that's why I didn't seem so small. Just can't say enough of this little place it was very lovely!

Fabulous Hotel!
The staff was so helpful and friendly. I loved my room, plenty of space. The neighborhood was so convenient, lots of restaurants and within walking distance to downtown. I look forward to coming back to the hotel. I hope the Polar lounge becomes open, because I would love to check it out.

A nice stay
This is a clean hotel with a cool, modern feel. We had a deluxe King room and although I would not say it was spacious, it was more than enough room to feel comfortable. The free coffee on the 10th floor was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the neighborhood. At first we were concerned about being far away from the main attractions but everything was really easy to get to. We both liked the more neighborhood feel to the area and found lots of great, low-mid priced restaurants close (Shake Shack at Madison Square Park, The House for brunch, Ponty Bistro for dinner, Angels Share for drinks/apps).Although we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel, there were a few areas the hotel could have improved our stay. At check-in, without us asking, the front desk offered to call us when our room was ready. This would have been a great service since we had been up for more than 24hours. However, we never got a phone call and eventually returned to the hotel at 4pm to find our room had been ready. We requested a wake-up call the next morning but we never got it. Lastly, an extra bar of soap would have been nice. We stayed for 3 nights and only got the original bar of soap that we had to keep moving from the shower to the sink. We also had to carry our own bags to the room but didn't mind saving the tip money. Overall, we were happy with our stay and felt we got a good value for NYC.

Good mid priced option
Good hotel overall if not brilliant. Great location and the staff were very helpful indeed. The rooms are quite varied as we tried 3 one of which was really quite small so that would bother me. Also the walls are really quite thin to the next room. But for the price it's good value compared to lots in NYC.

To Sleep Perchance to Dream
I loved the king-sized bed at this small hotel. The linen was high-end and soft as silk. And no germ-infested comforter. I had a smashing view of the Empire State Building from my window. The room, though small, had extra-high ceilings that made if feel large, and a smart, black ,white and green color palette. There's a charming deck on the 10th floor. The location was perfect. I could get anywhere by subway. I highly recommend it.
